I completely agree with your assessment/ The the KZ ZS10 Pro was my first foray into IEMs, and although I have a multitude of IEMs now, I couldn't resist trying the KZ ZS10 Pro X to see if it really had ironed out the minor irritants its predecessor had. To my ears, the Pro X mellows the treble tone and gives a far better-balanced presentation. I choose these when I want to listen to EDM and pop. Great fun and not fatiguing Great review.
these are my first IEMs and I'm loving them, my only complain is that the high frequencies roll-off way too early, but they're very detailed and sound natural.

I will rec like this. If you are still look like for more neutral sound but you have to deal with Peek Treble on some note and frequency, Old Pro Model is still great til this day and you will not disappointed (Only you got the defected one). If you looking for little more V-shape but still cohesive enough to not bleeding your ear too much, Pro X is good pick at the price. If you have the Pro Model, not recommended to get because it almost identical with the Pro X. While....If you want to try KZ ZS10 lineup, just get the Pro X, don't bother the old, get the newer version is much more sense, Just imagine; Less bass, and more peek note on Treble.
I've been using Chi-Fi IEMs for about 10 years now as cheap headphones I can beat up at school and work, and these are the first ones that have actually wowed me, even disregarding the price. For 6 years I had a pair of UiiSii BA-T6s which, while good, were more of just a bassline decent sound with but zero soundstage, and they had a tendency to compress really noticeably at the volumes needed to compete with the night manager's speaker system - but they're no longer available so I had to find new IEMs when the cable finally crapped out at work and these have become my new work headphones. Obviously there's no active noise cancelling, but if you stick a pair of memory foam tips on these they do a good enough job of blocking out the outside world, which I consider to be black magic given they have 5 holes dotted about for the drivers. They sound good enough that a few people I work with have ordered some for themselves after showing them to them, with a few commenting on how they'd never noticed elements of songs before including Bongo Man in September by Earth Wind and Fire, the little synth in the right ear just before the drop in Wake Me Up by Avicii, or about 90% of any early Queen song - and these are people who use gaming headsets that cost 3-5x as much at home and Airpods at work.
I've had my pair for a year and used them intensely. The bass died in one of them so I ordered a new pair. I had the same issue with the previous model. But for the price and my heavy use, I think it's ok.
I could not believe it. After your and several other reviews, I got these. HOLY S*&! So, I listened to rando tracks of mine and Brother, Alice in Chains, came on. I've heard this song 100's of times - AT LEAST - since released in '92. I start in, chilly tension builds, feels like im in the studio, phasing is just so lovely, then the chorus kicks and BANG could not only hear the background vocalist crystal clear, I COULD TELL WHO THE SINGER WAS! My brain was like...'uhhhh, is that who I think it is???' Sure as anything (googled it) IT WAS HER - Ann Wilson from Heart! Whaaaaaaaa??!! For me - this is like when Mario snags a mushroom power up into a fantastical sonic portal! I'm in a bit of shock here. OH, AND the volume floor level I listed at is crazy LOW now with these. I can literally begin to hear at (1 to 100 scale, PC) Volume 1, 12 is comfortable level, and 20 is starting to really get busy. This is out of the box, NO custom tips...JUST +/-$49 and my world has forever changed. My hearing clocks low end just above 14Hz and High end just below 15KHz - a bit better than most normal human range. This is by NO MEANS a technical measurement, but self-tested through various means. I'm just a regular Dude, abiding along the way. After super early impression, I would highly recommend these. My next step is the KZ AZ 15 wireless addon! If you're just an average Joe/Jill - there's is no way you will be disappointed with these. Just really affordable and the sound is dynamically impressive!
I bought these. I had no idea stuff like this was available at such a price. I play the drums in various bands and have used Shure SE215's and SE315's for monitoring because they are the go-to standard for the average gigging musician. They are well over 100€ and sound pretty much like a telephone with some weird resonances that (literally) give me a headache. So that was my "benchmark" for IEM's. And oh my dear god, these actually have a very good enjoyable sound. Not just good for 20€ but.. they sound quite good, period. They are sensitive and go ridiculously loud with a cheap dongle.
For my ears to make the ZS10 Pro’s perfect for me would be to pull back on the bass just a bit, and pull back on treble just a bit and I’d be in heaven. Other then that they sound good, I’ve recommended then to a lot of people.

Hi man, thank you for this great video! I bought these earphones and I'm extremely satisfied for the price, but now I'm thinking about upgrading to a more expensive model of KZ. I love the price-quality ratio, the deep bass (I can hear 20 hz clearly with those), I like the fact they survived washing machine, and survived very strong pulls of the cable, so I trust KZ - but I want a more detailed sound, though still similar to the ZS10 PRO X in other aspects
I bought these. They're okay, but they don't knock my socks off. They sound a bit thin to me. Maybe it's because I'm used to my ATH-M50x. I should have bought the Shure SE535 right away, but I wanted to try the KZs first. Now I end up spending more.
How would these compare to the ZS6? I love those because of the exciting sound and the old ZS10 just sound flat and inoffensive in comparison. Are the ZS10 PRO X any better?
Things i like Kzs10 pro because its totally fine for any genre of music. How about the" Pro X" build compare to kz s10 pro? Does it sound the same. I'm using kzs10 pro , i had problem with the pin which connects to cable, it easily broken, i don't know how to fix it. Compare Salnotes zero & Pro X, which one would you drop money? I've heard that Salnotes zero tune is fine, but its less or more durable than pro X?
I dont have the zsn 10 pros but I do have salnote zeros. They are good with mids, vocals and highs but the bass distorts really easily on regular bass guitar. If you like strong bass dont get them.
and also the sound signature is different in terms of bass, upper mid, mid, Trebel is more prominent on the zs10 pro x. especially the clear details and textures
@@alexurcavich it all depends on your choice friend. want an affordable price choose zero. spend more choose zs10 pro x. noted: zs10 pro x sometimes high sounds metallic, unnatural, and a little stabbed in the treble
So, is the bass is lower on X than the original? Which one has the more bass? I am not a sound guy, I just like if it has more base and also great if I can hear enemy foot steps direction while playing games.
I have the kz zsn pro x, the left one broke in the place where you remove and plug in the cable, gonna replace it. How does the zs 10 pro x compare to kz zsn pro x?
Im new into this rabit hole but its excting to get excited about audio again. I think i am gonna try these with an inexpensive dac for my phone and tidal.
At mostly the same price, would you recommend these over the ZSX? I've seen a lot of comparison between the ZS10 Pro and the ZSX but none between the ZS10 Pro X and the ZSX, the consensus seems to be ZSX over ZS10 Pro but with the upgrades I'm not sure whether that is true for the ZS10 Pro X
i have both, ZS10 Pro is much brighter good for listening to vocals but can be fatiguing when listening to rock music. ZSX have more for bass, less fatiguing nice for RNB or Rock music. But i found myself using more the ZSX its more enjoyable because of its bass.
@@noisegrrrl im refering to ZS10 pro, both KSX/terminator and ZS10 pro are good for its price. I own several KZ Earphones including the KZ ZSN and Blon 03. For KZ earphone sound signatures are very close to each other to a point they may sound the same if you do some blind test, For now i stop buying KZ because if you own one you have an idea how they sound like just tiny bit different in tuning but not that much.
Nice review! I was thinking about getting these for just everyday use on my ways to work and so on. Definitely gonna buy them now. Also: What earphones are in the lower left corner? They look really interesting
Hey there, do u think it is better than the bl 03? I have the bl 03 and I'm thinking of replacing it with this, or something else, can u give me a few recommendations?
@Marc Dave Idk if the question is directed to Prime Audio Reviews, but I sadly can't give you any real recommendation, since I only own 3 pairs of headphones :/
Very nice video. I have a question. I watch movies on my iPad Pro with AirPods Pro 2. Will using this enhance my movie experience or will be similar to my AirPods Pro 2? Funny question, but an honest one. I’m not an audiophile so I don’t know. Thank you
Hows the tob size is it bigger or smaller becouse i have smaller ears my perfect size is like how the nozel is on the zero 2. So is it the standered big nozel?
is there good bass for these? How do these iems overall compare to the Apple EarPods? The EarPods have a ton of bass but I feel like they could be more detailed. Thinking about getting these. Do they also leak a lot of sound?
@@PrimeAudioReviews I'm also skeptical of how stable these are. Do they fall out of your ear during workouts? What if you accidentally pull on the cable and the wire connecting the drivers and the cable themselves disconnects? If not then I am easily buying these asap ty for the reply man
Cmon dude, I already did a comparison. I said this in my written review: "ZS10 Pro X has better sub-bass extension giving it more authority and rumble in the lows."
I have the kz zs10 pro, I really like them but I always found the high frequences slightly uncomfortable and depending on the venue it would fluctuate so it sounds by your review that the pro x are much better with that. Would you recomend kz to singers/back vocalist? Thank you so much
The Pro X handles the highs much better than the Pro. I think you should be okay. The stock eartips are not great either. You might want to buy some inexpensive alternatives from aliexpress or amazon. You can get a set of tips for as little as $1-$2.

is this the best iem in its price range, is there anything you recommend thats slightly more than these ones but way better. i want to play games like Tarkov, have good immersion and yet still have good all around audio for everything else, like videos, music ect.. and other games. does it suit them all?
@@PrimeAudioReviews Thanks for the answer, I usually always use the final eartips on every iems. I was searching for the Dunu titan S but they are not easy to find in Europe at decent prices without having to wait a month :)
Great review! Do you think the cable is good enough or would you upgrade it? If so, could you recommend a good cable that is at least 1.6m long? As a drummer (who needs to hear the whole spectrum and good sound isolation), would you opt for ZS10Pro X or ZAS? Thanks a lot!
The stock cable is fine as far as quality goes. Whether or not it handles well enough for you is subjective. There are several quality and affordable cables on Linsoul. Regarding zas, I prefer zs10 pro x.
I'd stay away from the PR2 Pro since there's been a lot of controversy about different versions being sold. If you want a wide soundstage, take a looks at the Simgot EW200.
Go to Linsoul.com and check the cables there. Look for anything with 0.75mm connectors. It really depends how much you want to spend, can go from $10 to $1000+.
is the sound good enough like the hyperx cloud 2? im looking for an iem cuz headsets damaged my hair. My main game is Counter Strike need to hear footsteps directional not surround just left and right
I just got mine delivered last June 28 and I wasn't able to use it in my phone because my Usb c to 3.5 mm with DAC was dwlivered 2 days later. I was surprise that the sound is clearer and when watching videos I dont need to go to high volume to be able to hear every words or sound clearly. This is my first IEM and Iam happy I got to experience this after many years of saying nah I don nees that the single Driver TWS eaebuds can do that too. I was surprized that the KZ have had a controversy allegedly that some of their multi driver have other drivers as dummies and not doing a thing and they are just for show. Is the KZ zs10 pro x also suffer from dummy drivers or this zs10 pro x drivers are all doing their job?
Curious how these compare with the hidiz ms2's? The hidiz are only a 33 dollar difference. I like the idea of the extra armatures but not sure how much of a difference it makes? To be honest the $33 difference isn't a problem. The hidiz seems to get great reviews. So can the kz zs10 pro x save me money and not make me regret not spending the lil extra?
The MS2 has a brighter tonality, more dynamics and detail. ZS10 Pro X is smoother overall and not as etched in the treble. If you're treble-sensitive, the ZS10 Pro X has a safer tuning but if you want something vivid and contrasty then get MS2.
Probably this one for your first IEM. It has a warmer/bassier sound signature which is probably what you're used to. The only issue with either one is the shitty stock eartips but if you get a good fit with those, you're golden.
I loved the original but as my collection grew I used it less and less. It did have a tendency with some tracks to sound a smidge metallic in the treble. Do you think this issue has been eradicated in the replacement?
Hi, I'm new here, just wanted to ask about a difference I found with this earphone. I wanted to buy this model but found out that it might have 2 different versions that use different BAs? I went to the official website, and it describes that it uses 2 pairs of 50024 BAs, but I found that the description's aliexpress link page says it uses 50024s and 30019s BAs. Does anyone know if there is any difference between them or if the version with 30019s could be a mock?
Do these have surround sound, that is, you can hear from the right side and then the left side using the audio test in the control panel for the audio device? Because when I tried it for my device, it did not work and it kind of disappointed me. Someone please let me know, thank you!
@@PrimeAudioReviews It still doesn't have surround sound. For instance, when I launch valorant, it sounds like my teammates walking in front of me are actually behind me. I can't tell where my surroundings are based on sounds at all.
Tough choice there. ZS10 Pro X has more bass impact and better dynamics and instrument separation. The Zero has a more balanced sound signature and forward mids.
I am looking for headphones with mic to use bigo live sound card with my mobile. But do not know if this KZ Zs10 Pro X is suitable or not? Does it drain the sound card's battery a lot? Which is suitable and better? Want headphones Mic noise cancellation and mic sensitivity are both good.
I have two non-X pairs and you get insanely good value, especially when you're on the go, want quality audio, and they're inexpensive so you don't worry about them taking a beating. Anyone saying they sound "bad" is a jackass. You're likely listening in a noisier environment and you're not mixing...
Which one would you recommend for more of an immersive (not competitive) gaming experience? Would it be the Pro X still or the original with the wider soundstage?
I am having trouble connecting these to my pc, does anyone have a software they use as a recommendation or any advice on getting them to work. I plug them into the audio jack on the pc and they don't want to work.

Im in doubt between these withe the az09 bluetooth adapters and the vxs pro.
I bought these. They're okay, but they don't knock my socks off. They sound a bit thin to me. Maybe it's because I'm used to my ATH-M50x. I should have bought the Shure SE535 right away, but I wanted to try the KZs first. Now I end up spending more.
Have you tried different eartips? Getting a proper fit/seal brings out the meat in the sound.
For playing live music as a drummer, should I go with these or the zero?
i think you should choose zs10 pro x over zero, technically it is better than zero. and I think zero seems bored
and also the sound signature is different in terms of bass, upper mid, mid, Trebel is more prominent on the zs10 pro x. especially the clear details and textures
Cool cool. My regular iem just went out and need a replacement for a little while. Thanks homie 🙏🏼
@@alexurcavich it all depends on your choice friend. want an affordable price choose zero. spend more choose zs10 pro x.
noted: zs10 pro x sometimes high sounds metallic, unnatural, and a little stabbed in the treble
HI! Sorry if I missed it but do they have surround sound?
Are the Blon BL-03s better or on par to the ZS10 Pro Xs in terms of imaging, bass attack, rumble and instrument separation?
ZS10 Pro X is better at all those things. Where the BL-03 shines is in its tonality and engagement.
@@PrimeAudioReviews Thank You for the insight.
@@equaniman647 I have both bl 03 and zs10 pro. zs10 pro is better at everything for me
@@starnutron6147 thank you, I think I'll buy a zs10 pro x as a backup.
@@equaniman647 its my pleasure
So, is the bass is lower on X than the original? Which one has the more bass? I am not a sound guy, I just like if it has more base and also great if I can hear enemy foot steps direction while playing games.
I recommend you get the ZS10 Pro 2.
I really want the best from an in-ear monitor, best sound quality possible for a cheap price. Are these worth it? And how do you clean them?
I have the kz zsn pro x, the left one broke in the place where you remove and plug in the cable, gonna replace it. How does the zs 10 pro x compare to kz zsn pro x?
ZS10 Pro x is better. More dynamic, better details and natural mids.
@@PrimeAudioReviews Thank you so much mate, I love your videos. Great job!
Im new into this rabit hole but its excting to get excited about audio again. I think i am gonna try these with an inexpensive dac for my phone and tidal.
You will be surprised how good they sound (assuming you get a good seal).
@@PrimeAudioReviewsyou aren't wrong they're great. I've had them about 2 months now with a cheap 7hz 71 dongle. It's great.
@jjayala glad to hear that you're enjoying them!
This is better than the ZSX imo.
i have both, ZS10 Pro is much brighter good for listening to vocals but can be fatiguing when listening to rock music. ZSX have more for bass, less fatiguing nice for RNB or Rock music. But i found myself using more the ZSX its more enjoyable because of its bass.
@@milarabeltran8248 do you mean ZS10 Pro or ZS10 Pro X?
You should! The ones in the corner are the FiiO FF3.
@Marc Dave Idk if the question is directed to Prime Audio Reviews, but I sadly can't give you any real recommendation, since I only own 3 pairs of headphones :/
would you recommend this for editing videos or a headset of similar price?
Yes, these are fine for editing videos. You can also check out the Kiwi Ears Cadenza or KZ ZVX.
Very nice video. I have a question. I watch movies on my iPad Pro with AirPods Pro 2. Will using this enhance my movie experience or will be similar to my AirPods Pro 2? Funny question, but an honest one. I’m not an audiophile so I don’t know. Thank you
Yes, these will enhance your movies.

Amazing review
What do you prefer Zs10 pro x or PR2? As you know KZ already ruined pr2 then which one should I get? There are also kz as16 pros
Zs10 Pro. It has better details and bass depth.
i love the Z10 pro, I will definitely buy the ZS10 pro X..
Hows the tob size is it bigger or smaller becouse i have smaller ears my perfect size is like how the nozel is on the zero 2. So is it the standered big nozel?
Hello and thanks for this review. I really can't decide between this or truthear critical zero red for gaming. Which one you offer?
This one!

Linsoul? I ordered mine 5 days ago and they’re about to land in the UK. So should be about 7 days overall, way faster than they’ve been in the past
Hi do you know if it has electronic crossover?
is there good bass for these? How do these iems overall compare to the Apple EarPods? The EarPods have a ton of bass but I feel like they could be more detailed. Thinking about getting these. Do they also leak a lot of sound?
Better than earpods and they don't leak hardly any sound.
@@PrimeAudioReviews I'm also skeptical of how stable these are. Do they fall out of your ear during workouts? What if you accidentally pull on the cable and the wire connecting the drivers and the cable themselves disconnects? If not then I am easily buying these asap ty for the reply man
I am thinking about getting this headphones for mainly gaming, are these a good pick?
Good pick for everything.
what is the best eartips to pair with kz zs10 pro x?
Spinfit cp100 or Moondrop Spring tips are popular. I just use any XL ones that give me a good fit/seal.
@@PrimeAudioReviews thank you, will look more into it.
Great video but if you got the chance to choose which one would you get the kz-zs10 pro or the kz-zs10 pro x
Pro X.
@@PrimeAudioReviews and as for the bass does it do a better job or it's not that good anymore
Cmon dude, I already did a comparison. I said this in my written review: "ZS10 Pro X has better sub-bass extension giving it more authority and rumble in the lows."
@@PrimeAudioReviews
Thank you sir 🙏🏻
I have the kz zs10 pro, I really like them but I always found the high frequences slightly uncomfortable and depending on the venue it would fluctuate so it sounds by your review that the pro x are much better with that. Would you recomend kz to singers/back vocalist? Thank you so much
The Pro X handles the highs much better than the Pro. I think you should be okay. The stock eartips are not great either. You might want to buy some inexpensive alternatives from aliexpress or amazon. You can get a set of tips for as little as $1-$2.

You can use any affordable dongle DAC, there are heaps out there.
Hey! Would you recommend this or the Kiwi Cadenza? Looking for a great sounding IEM with a nice bass but not basshead
Both are good but the Cadenza comes with better accessories.
@@PrimeAudioReviews Thanks! Do i need a DAC or AMP to drive the Cadenza or i can plug it directly to my phone and enjoy it?
Cadenza is fine direct from your phone. If you like the sound you can consider buying a DAC later
@@PrimeAudioReviews thanks again for the help. Looks like Cadenza it is!
is this the best iem in its price range, is there anything you recommend thats slightly more than these ones but way better. i want to play games like Tarkov, have good immersion and yet still have good all around audio for everything else, like videos, music ect.. and other games. does it suit them all?
'Best' is subjective. Cmon mate, you should know better!
Would you pick these, the Tin t3 plus or the cadenza? I'm essentially into music (metal, rock, edm) and fps games. Thanks and great review :)
I'd suggest these. Only hope you get a good fit with the included eartips because there are limited included in the box.
@@PrimeAudioReviews Thanks for the answer, I usually always use the final eartips on every iems. I was searching for the Dunu titan S but they are not easy to find in Europe at decent prices without having to wait a month :)
Hi! Can u recommend this item for live sound mixing? Thx
For basic mixing, yes I can. Plenty of volume and pretty decent passive noise isolation.
Why are there so many different "brands" of the KZ ZS10 Pro X? There is KZ but there is also Linsoul?
Linsoul is just a distributor/seller. There’s only one ZS10 Pro X.
Which one do you recommend? zs10 pro or pro x i like bass and stages
Pro X
Wat do u think the kz iem, with the widest soundstage is Prime. I'm thinking of getting the zs10 pro x , or the pr2 pro.
I'd stay away from the PR2 Pro since there's been a lot of controversy about different versions being sold. If you want a wide soundstage, take a looks at the Simgot EW200.
what kind of cable would you recommend for an upgrade?
Go to Linsoul.com and check the cables there. Look for anything with 0.75mm connectors. It really depends how much you want to spend, can go from $10 to $1000+.
is the sound good enough like the hyperx cloud 2? im looking for an iem cuz headsets damaged my hair.
My main game is Counter Strike need to hear footsteps directional not surround just left and right
What would oyu recommend more, these oe the pr1 hifi?
These is you want slightly more dynamic sound and treble energy, PR1 if you want resolution and smoother highs.
Which KZ IEM has a better/best MIC.? I want one to replace Earpods for Zoom/Teams meetings. Thanks!
They all have the same mic.
Plz include price in the description.
is the microphone of the mic version good?
Yes, it's surprisingly good (way better than TWS earbuds).
Are those better than LINSOUL KZ ZS10
How do these compare to Samsung buds 2 pro
to be my first IEM, which do you recommend, this or the Simgot EW200? What is the difference?
Probably this one for your first IEM. It has a warmer/bassier sound signature which is probably what you're used to. The only issue with either one is the shitty stock eartips but if you get a good fit with those, you're golden.
@@PrimeAudioReviews Kz Vadar balanced(trio rebranded) or these? Same price rn.

It's totally viable, especially if under $20.
Which ones better for gaming? I’ve heard about the Kz 10 pro but I’m wondering if this model sounds better in games.
Pro X is better overall.

This is an upgrade over ZSX.
between the pro x and tangzu wan'er which one will you recommend?
I haven't tried the Wan'er
I loved the original but as my collection grew I used it less and less. It did have a tendency with some tracks to sound a smidge metallic in the treble. Do you think this issue has been eradicated in the replacement?
Yes, the quality of the treble has improved for sure.

Truthear HEXA
@@PrimeAudioReviews why not kz zs10 pro x?
That would also be fine. Both have a good bass response and not sharp treble.
Is it on par with kz castor and cca Rhapsody?
Yes but I prefer Rhapsody's sound signature (despite the huge shells).
Why do mine sound so tinny? :/ And I'm not even sure what base you're talking about.. I almost feel like they are too trebley and not enough basey.
It sounds like you're not getting a proper seal with the eartips. Try some different ones if you have any available.
Is it the original Pro vs the Pro X? I never heard anything about having 2 versions of Pro X.
Do these have surround sound, that is, you can hear from the right side and then the left side using the audio test in the control panel for the audio device? Because when I tried it for my device, it did not work and it kind of disappointed me. Someone please let me know, thank you!
That should work fine. Check that you have the cable inserted correctly.
@@PrimeAudioReviews It still doesn't have surround sound. For instance, when I launch valorant, it sounds like my teammates walking in front of me are actually behind me. I can't tell where my surroundings are based on sounds at all.

Just get ZS10 Pro 2 and call it a day.
I narrowed it down between the KZ ZS10 Pro X and the 7Hz Salnotes Zero, which one would you chose between the two? Thank you
