I am using them for a few days now, bought them for an early bird price of 35$, and coming from zs10pro x to these ones, pro 2 just sounds better. I love the ability to tune the bass with the switches, because pro x had a tad bit too much bass for my liking. On pro 2 I use UUDD switch combo, and I really like the sound. One thing I am a bit disappointed about is the function of the 4th switch, they advertise that it should bring the treble a bit down, but every review has proven that it does nothing, and I also can't seem to hear any difference. Shame, because it would be nice to have tunable treble also... Maybe the first batch has a fault for the switch, but for the price I have paid for them, can't complain.
This is a really surprising set, especially with IEMs getting pretty stale these days with the tunings. I like how this one can get from a clsssit KZ V shaped sound to an outright L shaped just by meddling with the switches
Sounds like an optimized setup will be Final Audio Type-E tips (which tend to smoothen the highs a bit) and the switches to UUDD... and we have a nice budget winner right there.
The problem with these is the earphone prongs are not secured well. If they come to lose they slide into the earphones and I hope you have the specialty screwdriver for them to pull them out enough to hook them back up.
hey Vortex, I've been enjoying your graph measurements on squig and appreciate the breadth of your collection. I wonder why your graphs tend to look smoother than some others? Are there different settings in measurement testing that can affect the detail/resolution of the graph?
Cheers and it varies on peoples setups. I use my Topping combo which has a super low output impedance for the best accuracy plus I use the coupler with the recommended sound card as well.
Pro 2 has better imaging, better soundstage, I hear some details I haven't heard on pro x. Tunable bass is a great option in my opinion, and it works really nicely.

Can you provide suggestions on the switch settings please?
Got them today. A few hours of listening so far. Upper mids and treble sound thin, especially treble. No real sibilance, just kinda metallic thin treble. Tips with narrow bore help to lower that treble a little. Stage, instrument separation and layering, probably best I heard from KZ
I can't stand foam tips - so glad you agree. I first tested the ZS10's but they were really brash in the high end. After losing one in Heathrow Airport I bought some ZS10 Pro X in Atlanta and still use them today. Really nice IEM's. I'm not too sure on the adjustable switches but will compare your graph with the ZS10 Pro X right now. If they both peak around the same I will keep what I have. Yeah the difference is negligible so you are right about keeping the switches up. Apparently the last switch (fourth) reduces the high frequencies somewhat, but not that much going by your graph. I would love to upgrade but I will stick with mine for now. That said I'm a nerd and will probably buy the 2's this evening after a few beers 🤣
