@mikegibbons6650 you crazy? I can only aspire to say that my mom is like your mom's. She told me to go fuck myself. Obviously RIP. And I hope both your families are OK in Florida
I paused the video at the start because I wasn't ready to start watching, so I genuinely thought Greg was dead and Mike was doing a solo tribute show when I saw this poignant black and white photo of Greg 😮....and then I pressed play and he spoke 😁
NOTES: Johnny Burnette sang the original - You're Sixteen Sydney Opera house was long after Art Deco (1920-1940). Its exact style is classified as Expressionist. 1970's Architecture is known for many styles including - Postmodern, Brutalism, Late Expressionism
💕SUZY: I'm in a similar position, I know your pain and completely understand what your saying, especially about how you have to plan what you're going to do. It's getting harder to live with. I was in bad car crash, head-on collision / back broken in two places and a crushed disc. Hope you appreciate someone understanding your predicament because nobody I've ever talked to does and people don't realise that people are living with chronic pain and the consequences of that. It isn't just a take a load of painkillers and get on with your life situation. Its much more complex. Imagine not being able to sit down or lie down such is the pain, especially sitting. Its exhausting, Im worn out. But I love this show too. And Greg, its worse when you have Depression before this happened as is my case, now the Depression is worse and managing pain is very hard because your mood is very important to it and you can't get yourself into a good mood when your in pain. Vicious circle
BIOLOGICAL CONFLICT: The biological conflict linked to the dentin is not being able to bite, either literally (being unable or having difficulties manipulating food) or figuratively, in the sense of not being able to “bite” or “snap at” an opponent, because the individual is in a weaker position (compare with bite conflict related to the enamel and the jaw muscles). For example, physically weaker (a child vis-à-vis a bigger child or an adult, a woman vis-à-vis a man, a small dog vis-à-vis a big dog), in a weaker position at the workplace (an employee vis-à-vis the boss or a colleague in a higher position), at school (a student vis-à-vis a teacher, a teacher vis-à-vis the principle), within the family (a child vis-à-vis a parent or an older sibling; a new spouse or partner vis-à-vis a stepchild), or in a weaker position vis-à-vis an authority (government official, policeman, doctor, judge, bank manager). Discrimination, political oppression, abuse (physical, sexual, verbal), punishments, restrictions, provocations, or being scolded create situations that could trigger a bite conflict. The conflict is experienced as not being able to fight back or fight someone off in defense (“showing one’s teeth”). Verbal fights and constant arguing with a family member are classic bite conflicts. The bite conflict related to the dental bone is a type of self-devaluation conflict (see bones and joints). Unattractive teeth, because of poor dental hygiene, can therefore also cause a dentin-related conflict. The bite conflict associated with the jaw bones is perceived as more intense.
Hey guys! Thanks for explaining Blood Simple"s appeal! This past week, my brother and I tried to watch Fat City. Greg's rec about the opening sequence is okay, we guess. I mean dont get us wrong, we always dreamed of watching a hung over Stacy Keach in a shit box apartment wearing only his holey tighty whities looking for something to light up that first morning cigarette in bed. Idk about the best opening scene of all time, it was a unique scene though.... hahahaaa. Can you guys explain the lure of the rest of Fat City for us? We need to get back 1 hour of our lives back. I say 1 hour as we couldn't even get through the whole flick (which is rare). Can you fellas recommend more unique old school movies for us to check out?? Thanks again!
Geez Mike! Not only does TJ Miller NOT know you as we find out on Greg's latest podcast. But at 29:33, we found out you and Greg host a podcast called Fitzdog Radio! Correction! It's called Sunday Papers Greg.
Mike is always like I have a news story but I'm going to talk about it next week. Like what the heck imagine reading a newspaper headline man gets penis eaten by homeless woman we will write about it next week 😅
Day 1 of former President Carter's life without his departed wife, Rosslyn. He goes outside, smells the fresh air. Draws a big sigh. He strolls down the driveway to the street to pick up the newspaper. He finally makes it, he reaches down to grab it, and hot pink panties smack him in the face.
Maybe this will make Greg feel better about saying no to the bongo experience. Put on a song. Tap your hands on the desk to the song. Listen to that tapping. That would've been you, except loud, on (I think you are describing congas -- the big ones, that Ricky Ricardo played) for an audience. It's easy to throw off a beat if you aren't practiced in keeping it. Keeping a beat is harder than it looks when there's a pressure to perform.
Id thought been ages since Greg been at Red Lobster , not that he's elitist but unlike a Chili's or TGIF burger, you don't need Greg's success to pass on seafood quality of chain restaurants
I've learned a lot about AI, and I don't think it will take over film and tv writing, because of the lack of human authorship, which is important for the audience. It's kind of like PEDs in baseball. But, I think writers will be able to create their own trailers or movies that can at the very least be used to pitch to studios and show what their writing might look like onscreen. In a world where executives don't like to read scripts, a writer who knows their way around AI will have an advantage.
So reassuring hearing you joke of panic to take quiz naming famou So unnerving with age observing own growing inability to pull names which I of course know from memory.. I'll test myself at times, trying to recall all 18 names from show Friends (6 characters names plus 6 first & 6 last actor names) I certainly know all of yet increasingly rare to nail all 18 anymore
Wow - i did the same thing and KUDROW! I just got it, but I could not summon her name to save my life. Also.... Nope I'm not getting - Schwimmer!!!!! I'm good today
Please let Greg know that car company’s make the 6 cylinder version of hot rods for woman who r scared of V8s. He should not b bragging. Once again he lands in the middle. I’m sure he owns a comfort bike and not a mountain bike as well.🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
Check out Trump's visit to the convention of the National Association for Black Journalists. He was an hour late because he refused to go in if they were going to fact check him (at a convention for journalists) and on-brand he blamed the delay on the convention; on faulty equipment, poor preparation.
Greg “ I went to a job unfair” 😂
haha
Great episode! Love the podcast!
Greg your special was great. Watched a few times and it keeps popping up in my play next. Awesome stuff

Sweet Satan it's Sunday Papers!

At 1:00 hour - Your correct reference would be the Julie Andrews film vehicle "Victor, Victoria" Might have been directed/produced by Blake Edwards.

Greg seemed less animated this episode.
😂
good stuff
best yet!
Left Greg is surprisingly animated this episode.
loved new Greg
Greg, you have the body type of Kermit the frog.
It's not easy being frail
20 bucks says Greg didn’t wear pants during the entire episode
Was he supposed to wear pants this week?
Chez please!
Greg you look so good today.

Look of his life
I blasted the intro through my home stereo this morning. Perfect! Greg, thanks for the extra loud READ ALL ABOUT IT. Scared the shit out of my mom.
Poor mom. We're sorry!
@mikegibbons6650 you crazy? I can only aspire to say that my mom is like your mom's. She told me to go fuck myself. Obviously RIP. And I hope both your families are OK in Florida
Gotta keep 'em on their toes
Happy Sunday
Happy!
Sweet Jesus it's Sunday! Sweet
Yay! We have Sweet Jesus and Sweet Satan!
Red Lobster has always been too highfelutin for me. I prefer the casualness of Long John Silver.
Arthur Treachers
Arrrrrrrrr

"All you can eat Gout"
Shrimp 75 ways
I didn't even know Red Lobster still existed anywhere. It went away from upstate NY over 20 years ago. 😂
Get on it!

That's what "they" said

XHamster that Greg mentioned is one he won't be blocked from when in here in TX
1:27:38 “I’m gonna take that out in post”

You should have stayed to the end. Stacy Keach ends up beating Apollo Creed.
Haven' seen Fat City yet. Is it about Houston?
Sorry you didn't like it. Kind of have to be in the mood for that I guess. Burr had recoimmended it to me
@paints_his_shirt_red Seriously? We're finishing it today then for sure. Sgt. Stastanko rules!
@GregFitzsimmonsComedy Thanks Greg. We will finish Fat City today. Didn't know about the end fight.....kind of pumped up now.
As an avid garfield reader, this top 10 list is falling very short.
Love the pod! Here for the algo.....
Thx!

Garfield only pretends to be indifferent to Jon
Yet Garfield has no job so to hate Mondays, must miss Jon who's not home when when work starts Mondays
...black eyes ... like a dolls eyes... 😱
Smart fish, Chief

☕️
Drink up!!!!

Why are you calling AP left? MSNBC is left, not AP or Reuters.
haaaaaa
I think he meant journalism. Which now is blurry with the left bc of Fox
Factual news reporting has a liberal bias, because facts have a liberal bias in the face of outright fascism.
Facts are left then.
@@mikegibbons6650 fact you

I love the still pick. It looks like you farted and wondered if it's actually you that farted. You smell it though.
Every pod beginning should include request that while watching that episode to open 2nd tab, mute it and silently also play You Know Me
Sure!

I wonder if bands really use click tracks. I'm not doubting it, but a click track is kind of an insult to the drummer.

Very white of him
It's dope to know that Mike worked for so long on Tosh.0. I think he hardly mentions it, given how big of a deal that is.
I don't think Greg is a fan of Daniel Tosh.
AI could NEVER write this! Take is eash
