LivingLifeFast I highly doubt that car was a tuned 335d. It was probably a 4 pot Vectra, by the sounds of it. That was not a 6 Cylinder Diesel Sound. If it were a tuned 535d, it would have about 700nm’s of torque and would have kept up with the S3.

If you look at the speeds they were going I doubt you would want to go faster than that. Most of uk roads are tight and twisty. I think the copper was much better on the brakes. The aim for them is not to loose sight.

They tried to sting him, the officer missing with the stinger is the only idiot here. If you watch the footage from the other angle (from the car parked next to the junction on the roundabout) the suspect moves into that lane as soon as he has spotted the stinger. Approaching a car driven by someone desperate to get away, without it being boxed, in is a sure fire way to get injured also. The safe thing to do was to sting it, so they did the right thing, the execution was lacking.

they did, and later on in the video when it turns you can see the rear left tyre is deflated.

Everyone complaining the s3 driver is doing top speed of 155mph in residential roads while driving on the wrong side of the road with oncoming and parked traffic assuming he’s in a automatic car.
It’s fast yeah. But be realistic. 80 mph is about the speeds your going to see especially when he’s gotta do a lot of turns.
