- A war of words between Tamil Nadu BJP president K Annamalai and DMK minister TRB Rajaa over spending expenses during campaigning and the party's respective chances in the upcoming Lok Sabha election in the state.
Annamalai, who is the BJP candidate for Coimbatore, questioned what other parties did related to the welfare and development works of the constituency.

I am asking the same question to Annamalai. What changes the BJP brought to the nation in the past 10 years. Please dont say Ramar Temple atc. If you claim the same the next question is why the Rama brought down the temperature in Coimbatore. All the BJP done in the past 10 years is illegally acquired money through SBI electoral bonds
If you actually dont take sides and try to understand without bias, India is doing very good in the last 10 years. I will try to say key points only:
Extreme poverty is definitely reduced.
Digitalized India definitely made our life easier much more connected within our country and to the world. Lots of information was available to almost every person which they can use to grow and learn on thier own. Payments are made easy dont need to wait in the banks anymore.
Built toilets every home in india have toilets now, swach bharat campaign is a success too.
Built a lot iits,nits, aims, and various other educational colleges in various sectors. education is made available to a lot of students.
These are all look simple things but they are not easy to do. But they made it possible pretty quickly.
Now india is flourishing in it sector is because of digital india.
They did a lot of ground level work before moving forward.
Now they are understood we need to decrease our oil imports and dependency on oil. We need to be self sufficient for our regular needs like electronics etc. They understood we need to manufacture our own products.
But for that we need to first attract some companies. IT companies just need human labour they dont need much so it is easier to attract them. While manufacturing companies need good infrastructure like roads,railways,ports and good connectivity and thier massive electricity demands should be met, then only they will come.
We can see the road, railway connectivity increased significantly. Wr can see Railway stations are cleaner and more organised than ever before in India. While ports are also significantly improved, old ports capacity almost doubled and built a hundreds of new ports all over india.
Next we need electricity for our manufacturing sector to grow. We cant use fossil fuels india is already kinda polluted. Energy demands are going to be crazy for manufacturing sectors. So they understood we need to go renewable for that to happen.
They built like 7 biggest solar parks in the world in top 20. They built 11 solar parks and 9 additional solar parks are under development. They promised to go 50% energy demands will be met by renewable energy by 2030 and they are working very actively in this regard.
They are planning to encourage the rooftop technology and subsidie the solar panels too in the future for public homes.
They are doing the ground level work pretty quickly. Good transport connectivity and providing thier energy demands .Now the manufacturing sector just flourish once the wave get bigger and local companies will join too.
He also did development around the borders and improved the people lives living there. If we dont develop the border areas other countries are keep pushing the borders every year. The roads, bridges,tunnels,railway and connectivity overall in Jammu and kashmir is also commendable.
They did a good job in many areas from the ground level with a very good vision for the future in my opinion.
