Anyone who says John wasn't a top class guitarist, point them to this song. I think it's the most beautiful song ever written for acoustic guitar. It's gorgeous and yeh it's tricky to play. Thanks to brilliant vids like this I have just about got there. The change from a7 to f9 is the one that gets me.
Beautiful song and well explained. One of the more tricky Beatles songs to play. And it wasn’t George or Paul, it was John who is a bit underestimated as guitarist. 🎸
Great job Howard, very clear and well explained, like the hybrid picking, Thanks , greets from amsterdam the netherlands, stay low and go slow, namaste.
Hey can u please do post toastee (with the long solo and everything) by tommy bolin Your one of the best guitar teachers out there and seem to be the only one who knows who he is
Hi - I've been asked about that one before... And yes, I love the song. The solo is pretty lengthy and requires a lot of tab and attention to detail - but I'd love to it (time willing) - It's a shame that Tommy's tutorials don't get more views. Hopefully, in some small way, others might discover him thru the lessons
@@247GuitarwithHowardHart yes I definitely understand the time and effort put into it, I was just saying whenever you get the chance. Until then, keep up the great work!

I believe John was taught the finger picking style by Donovan

Thanks Howard, nice learning this from a professional. Your the best. Too bad you couldn't sing too.
Awesome. Thank you
This song has to be the most complex one by John Lennon, it,s a gem, though, thanks for the Lesson, well done
