Thanks. I usually start by determining the overall measurement you will be lengthening your wheelbase, this will be what you'll need to add to the drive line. Most often this means a new shaft section of this length (with a additional center bearing) placed between the original two (or three) sections of drive shaft. Hopes this helps, good luck.
@@turbo1438 nice ! Thank you for your response. That sums up a lot . I’m going with a 298 for the w9 . The the short drive shaft go to trans then to existing or original first ? Might dumb question I guess but idk bout torque affecting anything. Ty!
@@bandolero6968 I wouldn't worry about tourqe inputs, I generally try to do as little modification to the very front shaft from trans. Usually u end up adding a cross member/s and that is where I try to put the additional shaft and center bearing.

How long does it take to start n finish the stretching? I want to stretch a 26ft box truck in order to add a 3-4ft space for bed (Sleeper).
