    Do you guys think investing in Funko Pops is a good idea?! Let's talk about it!

    • @givereceive8895
      @givereceive8895 2 года назад

      Yes, funko pops are worth investing in. You just never know like for example my Yusuke funko pop was worth 75 bucks but, I bought it for 10. Then,the figure dropped down in price to 45. I never heard of a restock drop or anything for the price to drop. Which, i thought was strange to me. But I currently looked up the price it's worth 70 now also I see him selling on anyone for almost 100 bucks ..super crazy

      Depends what they do with vaulted pops. If they keep unvautling people will lose faith In the product as a investment

    I collect Funko because I like them, not for an investment. if the Pop goes up in value that's just a bonus, but don't plan on selling them.
    Wise words for your motivation Monday too.

    Today, my dad took me to his friend's Linda's Monona Antique store to sell some of our things and I got $20.00 for my things and my dad, Wally got $50.00 for his bar lights that he bought. I looked around a few minutes and I saw one of the Funko pops from Big Hero 6 the movie version. She was only $5.00 out of the box. It was the Honey Lemon Funko pop from 2016, one of the older Funko pops that I have not seen before in person. Big Hero 6 is my mom's least favorite movie of all time. Sabrina Griffin, big fan of your channel John. I have a friend at the office named John, same name as yours and I have other friends too. They are Jeff, Nancy, Theresa, Morgan, Jesse, Danielle, Juile, Sarah and Melissa too. They're very kind to me and they help me sometimes holding the garbage bag filled with shredded paper when the shredder gets full every five minutes.

I’m not expecting a massive win fall but a bit of profit. I find this part of collecting fun. I also love buying ones I just love n if those ones go up, it’s just a bonus. Great video 👍🏻

    One of my best "investments" was my Star Wars Rebels complete set. I started on it back in early 2019 and now it's worth a little more than double what I paid for it. I won't ever sell it since it my favorite of the Star Wars cartoons and Ahsoka is easily my favorite character but it's nice to know it's been going up. Next year when the Ahsoka series comes out her early pops as well as Ezra and Sabine should get yet another bump in value. :)

    I think one of the reasons that Funko did well during the pandemic is because a lot of people, like myself, started collecting at that time. Something to do while staying home, watching funko content videos and ordering online. I don’t know if investing in Funko work in the same way here in Norway. The marked here is still small, but who knows, that might change. For me it’s fun to collect cause it brings back childhood memories. Thanks for sharing your knowledge John. 😃

    Call me old fashioned but I believe collecting should be done out of passion for the things you love. If you are going to sell them later on than why collecting them in the 1st place? Apparently you're not liking them enough to keep! I am a vivid Funko collector myself and I only buy the ones I really like not with the intention of selling them later and if they happen to go up in price so be it. Selling them at a later point is like a flipper but then long term! Funko is just a very smart marketing company with a lot of loyal fans! I think it is too bad that a lot of the Funko channels on RUclips now these days only speak about the value of the Funko's instead of the passion for collecting them.....just my humble opinion!

    might have been but company saying the market is tanked, they have way over stock and no demand... so much so that they are throwing in the landfill some 30 million in new un opened stock, if there's funko in the landfill by the tune of millions then yours are now worthless. just the stock has went for a 60% drop in days and looking for it to continue until company cuts buildings, employees and eventually chapter 11. my suggestion Is sell off now and hopefully someone will think worth more then the evaluation will show in a few months.
