lets you play as a Na'vi who awakens on Pandora years after being abducted as a child and raised by the human militaristic corporation known as the RDA. Senior Narrative Designer Chella Ramanan, Creative Director Magnus Jansen, Associate Game Director Drew Rechner, and Narrative Coordinator Jennifer Bartram discuss working with experts at Lightstorm Entertainment to craft a brand new Avatar story while remaining true to the Avatar universe.

They care so much about the lore. It's amazing.
Agree. However I'm worried about a quality of quests and angaging stories as they haven't talk about is too much. Also variety of enemies seems to be not impressive. The visuals and lore looks amazing, but it is not enough to have a game that is not boring.

Caring about the minutiae of their source material has always been Ubisoft's specialty, even in cases where they were not contractually obligated to care that much (Ptolemy XIII isn't the control freak he used to be).

One of the reasons I love Avatar so much is that it is magical, but it’s based off science. Basically connecting back to that magic does exist in science!!!

@@MrTommyWay And who owns Massive Entertainment? Ubisoft. Give credit where credit is due. Massive made the game but Ubisoft gave them the time they needed to make it. It could have been rushed out the door for a simultaneous release with Way of the Water but it wasn’t. Ubisoft needs this to be a W and they know it. Releasing a broken game after Cyberpunk would have been disastrous for Ubisoft.

This looks so great. There seems to be a lot of effort into everything. The effort is what makes the Avatar universe so cool. They really just go the extra mile with all aspects of creation. One of my favorite IPs of all time. Cannot wait for this.

i really wanted to see the water clan from the movie , it was so special , the diving and world under the sea
It'll probably come in a dlc or sequeal. All of teghse clans seem to be f the same origin as the first film's clans.
I would have liked that as well, but I understand why they're not in it. If they added those water clans we'd be too close to Jake and his familly in the movies. They want the game to be canon but detached enough from the movie storylines so that plot holes and the like aren't likely to occur.
Bring it on. This is my sleeper hit of 2023.
Actually loving this game! My son and I are playing it co op. A lot of fun! A few bugs for them to fix, but that's to be expected with a game of this scale.

@@cezarstefanseghjucan Yes, actually I love Ubisoft for some reason. For example, my favorite AC games are Odyssey and Origins, I don't like all Far Cry games, but I like Primal 5 and 6. Since they make new games so often, they are almost all copies of each other, because they haven't really made anything new or different for many years, like Rockstar Games or Capcom. But I personally think that there are companies that really put effort into making games that will be talked about for many years and will not fall off the agenda, such as Rockstar Games Capcom CD Projekt Red. But if these companies were the only ones in the market, then we would be left gameless for a very long time. Sometimes I think it is necessary to be able to play new games frequently, even if they are money-hungry like Ubisoft in the game market and they frequently make new games, even if they are copies of each other and have similar graphics and gameplay mechanics, without putting much innovation on them. In this way, until bigger productions are released, it makes me happy that games that are not bad (in my opinion) are enjoyable to play and are above average. By the way, I am using translation because I do not know enough English, I apologize for my spelling mistakes 😌😊☺️

I'm a bit worried about the downdrage on the final version of the game, and also Ubisoft seems a decade behind about facial animations, they really need to step up their game. I'll wait to see the final reviews at launch, I hope for the best !

Being a Cross Platform game, I need to know which system i should be getting this for.... I'm leaning toward Xbox as VRR works with my FreeSync Monitors. But i don't want to miss out on Controller Features on PS5 cuzz those are fun to lol

Yet the forest navi were still under realized in the avatar movies. Once Jake's family goes and joins the water clans it's very clear how far more adapted the water Navi is for their water environment.
All I'm saying is you think they'd have free pretrial tails.
So its only in 3rd person when your flying, why not make the option of 3rd person in general. I don't like playing games in first person and that is just my personal preference. I like to see my character and see them interacting
I am enjoying the game but there are issues. The first big one is on ps5 sometimes I go into the game and thebgame doesnt recognise I have played it and asks for border settings etc, like the first time its veen played. If I restart it fixes it, but I shouldn't have to do that each day I play. Exploration mode would be great if the clues were accurate. I went to find someone called Etuwa near a tree and the clue was that she was near home tree to the north west. When in fact it was West and I only found this by switching to guided. Other than that it is a very good game and great world.
