Yeh mate, it can be frustrating if you have to stop what you're doing to craft though, so good to try and balance it out whilst you play through (pick up resources as you go and don't ignore everything you walk past)

Sweet helpful video Andy, thank you, just grabbed this game today, yeah the navigation system here is just horrid. But the world is stunning and fun to play in.
I felt that the Ikran took way too long to get. The game is a slog pre-ikran. Once you do get the mount i felt thats when it really opens up. Love the open world, pandora is luscious with greenery. Story is so-so. Cant wait to see what else it offers.
I felt the same but I realize why they do that. Once I got my ikran I stopped walking as much but there is so much magic in walking around and exploring. I think they just wanted people to have that experience first before handing the whole world to them.
No worries at all mate, I hope they help you out! There's some parts of this game which are truly awesome (environment & graphics), but there's also a few mechanics that definitely need to be improved imo (navigation in particular). I think if you go into this game with tempered expectations and enjoy it for what it is, then you'll have a good time

at 9:13 you mention you wont be able to fast travel around pandora when your energy is at zero. while this is true it is also worth pointing out that this can be negated by unlocked the free fast travel ancestral skill found in clouded forest. also in your skill tree with the ikran. if you get the skills which makes it fill up its energy by eating fish whilst flying over a river this will pretty much make it so you will never have to hunt again for energy purposes.

only once you get to a mission called Eywa's Blessing you can play coop, my question is can I do some side quests while waiting for my friend to compete that quest too?
that's right mate, you can do that, if you want to play together on the story though, you both need to be on the same quest otherwise neither of you will progress at the same time, only the session holder (the person who invites) will progress, hope this helps!

Before you buy, BEWARE - you can get locked out of the base/main game before you finish it! Lots of people report being unable to finish the main game, because at random times the game decides that you need the (paid!) DLC to continue and it will not allow you to continue your game unless you pay for the dlc! It has been like that since the first DLC came out, so I suspect that scam was their plan from the beginning and they do it on purpose!

I tried to find the old video of the concept behind avatar, but that video is gone bc Ubisoft dont want any backlash, the staff was not productive, the idea was too much for the budget, etc.. excuses. Im not a hater, I just want them to be more transparent and doing the work with passion rather doing the easy way/ cashgrab method.
When you grab the stuff it shows the circle wheel to hit green, but it's bug for me. It show it to me at first time but afterwards you go further to the story its gone. I think it's bug.😮
It's not bugged..the wheel with the green bit was just a tutorial showing what to do at the start... You just have to look at your Na'vi hand and move it in the direction where it isn't shaking before trying to pull your resources. I'm pretty sure there is a setting in the menu to bring the circle back or make picking resources easier.
I really wish the game was third person veiw like horizon forbidden west. It would be awesome. And skill the animal and bringing it to the clan to chop into peaces like red dead redemption, yes the game lacks blood. It's still bugging. I shot the huver chopper and it disappeared in thin air, and I was like wtf it didn't crash at all, it just disappeared in the air.😒 what the hell.
When I go in to battle I press left trigger (for ADS) to pull out my bow because this works in nearly every game I’ve ever played. But nothing happens so I press triangle for weapon switch because this also works nearly every game but nothing happens so I hit my shoulder button to bring up my weapon wheel and highlight my bow and let go because that usually works but NOPE so I bring out the weapon wheel again and hit trigger-nothing, x-nothing, every other button on my freaking controller-nothing! And the RDA hammer me mercilessly while I stand there with a huge bow on my back looking at my bow in the weapon wheel like a total noomptsie! I try another controller-nothing. I can’t believe I’m begging for help on how to draw my weapon. Can anybody please help me? I’ve searched but I just get articles and videos on weapons in general. I’ve never felt so exquisitely stupid🤓 Anyone who can help me will have my eternal thanks and my promise that their name will be sung throughout the halls of Valhalla for eternity.

It's a pain to get the best quality resource. Yes it's time consuming. Yes you have to wait a certain time of day to get the best quality, I even kill the animals weak spot and it's still not get me the best quality meat, I believe it's random.
hello andy you said for the maps if you pressed show on maps it will show you but in my game there is only tracking the quest and stop tracking the quest I hope you could. help me by telling me the solution because in most of my quests it doesn't show me where to go
Here's a good tip I've seen no one talk about. In the first few missions, there's one with a timer to get somewhere... I was lost but if you get low on time, just close the game and re open, you will be stood exactly where you last was, with a refreshed timer
You can also use cooking to cook a really special item allows you to get better Inquisite materials before picking the equisite material eat the item you cook and boom the equisite materials are 20% better one of the ingredients for the dish you cook is called Pale Fire Seeds they're found in the second region just watch a RUclips guide to find their location in order to get pale fire seeds the plant must be struck by lightning there's guides on here for that too happy gathering
In both my playthroughs of this game I’ve never been able to complete the side quest to craft neytu’s shawl (i think that’s her name?) is this just a bug or can I really not complete it
How did you get the ikran so soon into the game?? Is it a side quest or through the main storyline?? I have been doing all the side quests so that could be part of why I haven’t gotten to that yet.
Hello! I have the gold edition of the game in CD version for ps5, I have the last update and I didn't get the resistance bundle, I can't find the resistance armor cosmetic/skin even in the armor section to choose what skin to put on, and also the resistance bundle it doesn't even appear to me in the pouch menu, I don't have the e-mail section in the pouch menu, I don't have the missing items section in the pouch menu, what I can do to claim the resistance bundle?I forget to mention, I have internet on my ps5. I need help
your pouch in your inventory sounds like its full mate. Open that up by pressing triangle in your character inventory menu to check. You can also "donate" or "contribute" items you don't need into community baskets at Na'vi bases to get rid of unnecessary loot, or you can drop stuff on the floor from your character inventory to free up space - hope this helps Ad!
It’s honestly easy asf, just need to keep an eye on the blue gauge, it’s it goes low your health won’t regenerate, I’m using bows, no man made guns etc
Absolutely hate this game. It's almost as if it's attempting to be an mm online game, but only multiplayer? Pay gimmicky and crap story ques. So disappointing.
I'm getting real frustrated right from the start. I got a ton of things on my map to go see and when I try I'm blocked by a mountain I cant climb. Traversal is terrible. This game should not be first person.

Can you color or pick different ikrans or everyone has the same green one as seen in other gameplays?
yes you can change the colour of your Ikran mate, lots of different skins in the game!

Who know how to upgrade pouch inventory?
there really isn't melee weapons? if so, that's a massive let down... i don't want to use guns, i'd prefer bow and melee weapons. Huge disappointment
afraid not mate, no melee weapons in this game, only your fists for close-quarters combat. Hopefully they had a combat/hunting knife in the future

It may not be the longest game, but I am going to still be playing it long after I beat it.
Here's a good tip I've seen no one talk about. In the first few missions, there's one with a timer to get somewhere... I was lost but if you get low on time, just close the game and re open, you will be stood exactly where you last was, with a refreshed timer
You can also use cooking to cook a really special item allows you to get better Inquisite materials before picking the equisite material eat the item you cook and boom the equisite materials are 20% better one of the ingredients for the dish you cook is called Pale Fire Seeds they're found in the second region just watch a RUclips guide to find their location in order to get pale fire seeds the plant must be struck by lightning there's guides on here for that too happy gathering
The radial wheel to “Find the angle” when gathering has disappeared for me.
In both my playthroughs of this game I’ve never been able to complete the side quest to craft neytu’s shawl (i think that’s her name?) is this just a bug or can I really not complete it
How did you get the ikran so soon into the game?? Is it a side quest or through the main storyline?? I have been doing all the side quests so that could be part of why I haven’t gotten to that yet.

Hello! I have the gold edition of the game in CD version for ps5, I have the last update and I didn't get the resistance bundle, I can't find the resistance armor cosmetic/skin even in the armor section to choose what skin to put on, and also the resistance bundle it doesn't even appear to me in the pouch menu, I don't have the e-mail section in the pouch menu, I don't have the missing items section in the pouch menu, what I can do to claim the resistance bundle?I forget to mention, I have internet on my ps5. I need help

is there a bug with the game, it keeps telling my my food pouch is full and to tap left but when i try picking stuff up says full
your pouch in your inventory sounds like its full mate. Open that up by pressing triangle in your character inventory menu to check. You can also "donate" or "contribute" items you don't need into community baskets at Na'vi bases to get rid of unnecessary loot, or you can drop stuff on the floor from your character inventory to free up space - hope this helps Ad!
They have made this game WAY to complicated
It’s honestly easy asf, just need to keep an eye on the blue gauge, it’s it goes low your health won’t regenerate, I’m using bows, no man made guns etc

Absolutely hate this game. It's almost as if it's attempting to be an mm online game, but only multiplayer? Pay gimmicky and crap story ques. So disappointing.

I'm getting real frustrated right from the start. I got a ton of things on my map to go see and when I try I'm blocked by a mountain I cant climb. Traversal is terrible. This game should not be first person.
You get a flying mount and it makes it so much easier 👍
@@TheOnlyMarsh yeah its grown on me and I've figured out how to get to lost areas even without the mount
