Very pretty tan on that one leg. You’re so funny Julie. I have so many ongoing skin cancers that I’m not allowed to use self tanners or be in the sun, per Dermatologist. I miss it so much.😢
I'm sorry you've struggled with this, Lisa. Why aren't you allowed self tanners? I thought self tanning would be encouraged. Goodness, I've been self tanning for years.
Skin cancer runs in my family as well. Does it in yours?
@@JulieMeikle No one in my family has ever had skin cancers. I however, have enough for everyone. The cancers are so frequent that I have to go every three months for a full body exam. The dermatologist said he can’t see the true color of skin to examine for cancer/pre-cancers. This has been ongoing for the past several years. I have 4 scars on my face and I’ve lost count on my legs. It’s frustrating and depressing but I carry on. What else can you do, right?

I love the Luna Bronze tanning mousse. I also like the St. Tropez Express Tanning Mousse. The St. Tropez mitt isn't good though.
Luna Bronze has an olive tint so you'll never be orange. I'm sure there are other great brands but Luna has been my choice for years.
lol that’s something I would do Julie. How funny. 😂. Have you ever used Tan Lux Super Glow broad spectrum spf 30? I’ve not used it yet. I also have Isle of Paradise dark tanning drops which I used thru out last summer, but not impressed with it. I’ve never applied to my face as I’m skeered. Lol. My luck my face tan will be orange and or un even.
I've never used Tan Luxe sunscreen. Is it light? I love Skin 1004 sunscreen. It doesn't irritate my skin. Tanning drops would be so subtle for the entire body. Are you looking for a very natural gradual tan?
@@JulieMeikle I like to see results within 24 hrs. I exfoliate, and apply nothing after bathing as it says to do. I add drops to my moisturizer. And use a tanning mitt to rub in the product. But isle of paradise seems to be patchy( may be me) and when I bathe the next eve., it mostly washes off.
This is somewhat unrelated, but do you dermaplane? A lot of the mature (and mature-ish) content creators have such radiant and seemingly hairless skin and no one talks about it
All the time. I have videos up of me shaving my face both with a disposable razor and with the Derma Flash. I highly recommend it. It exfoliates your skin, your foundation applies so much nicer because it's not sticking to hair and your skin care sinks in easier too.

@@JulieMeikle I haven’t tried it… yet. I’m incredibly nervous. I fear a life long sentence of having to keep it up and wonder what it might look like if I don’t. Have you found it to be a chore or necessary to keep it up?
