- Tonight on #TBWD the guys open and review the Speyside Glen Moray Chardonnay Cask 10yo Single Malt Scotch Whisky released at 43%. With a fruity nose that is clearly influenced by the wine casks, the resulting impact is one of an early afternoon enjoyable drink. As you watch the episode it is clear to see that Colin and Malcolm are just enjoying a nice light drink with a piece of cheese, we recommend you do the same. Cheers!

Thank you, again, for an entertaining review. I don't think I have had a whisky with a chardonay maturation or finish. I have had a sauternes finish, a white port finish, a sherry finish and a maderia maturation. All of these treatments adds a layer of wine flavor or influence. All of which I enjoy when I am in the mood for one. That, as I see it, is the one shortcoming, albeit a small one, of your channel. You may very well have a pour of wine influenced whiskies 10 times in a row, when you were just craving a peated one. But Randy does make it interesting. Cheers!
Yes, Randy leads the way and there have been times when it's been CS Islay back to back to back...fortunately, the shelf in the back (lit in blue) is @ 100 open bottles that can satisfy any craving off camera, whew. Cheers mate!

I'm currently drinking a nice Australian rum from Beenleigh. I always find eucalyptus notes in Australian rum. Which i wish wasn't true but i love the cliché. My drinking thought of the week.

😂 I have a vague recollection of leaving a comment, did you guys pull it or YT, I might off broken a rule by plugging a Whisky shop in the UK, for Malcolm's Clan too pick him up a Ballindalloch CS.
