Martin and jane here. Luvin the video. We always stay at portonovo aprts when we can and go in taj Palace daily. Lovely food and people. Kai was packed. We only got in cos they know us luckily. Keep safe
Love Durty Nelly’s Kevin - has a great time in there and the staff are superb as is the food. We visited Gran Canaria in 2014 and stayed at Marina Suites which is a lovely hotel and only found these shops and restaurants halfway through our holiday, and ate at Kai once but remember it was good. Went back last August and stayed further out in Arguineguin but used the Bus,Taxis and hired a car for 4 days and spent more time there than when we were round the corner - we did stay at Arguineguin Park in a massive two bedroom and there are some lovely restaurants in that area. We’re thinking of going back in August but just the two of us as the daughter is old enough to stay home herself but will stay near the marina again for sure, maybe Morasol this time as it’s an easy walk into the main area up towards Mogan Mall even with my dodgy leg and back, and a taxi back would only be about €5 is we couldn’t be bothered.
Yes Kevin, you did stay at the Porlamar last time, just like me we both took ages to find the room. The only way in was through the terrace sliding door
Me and the wife hi every year to amadores and always take a trip down to Puerto Rico is a lot prettier in real life, on camera it can be quite deceiving
Puerto Mogán is nice for a day trip but I wouldn't stay there. Puerto Rico is perfect if you want a nice chilled beach holiday. Not the best for night life but still plenty of places to eat and drink. Definitely not tacky lol.

Taj Palace is also open in the day for snacks and beers. We often visit after a few hours at the beach.

The apartments at Taj Palace are PortoNovo, Marina Bayview is further up the hill. El Cenador is grand, as is El Gaitero ( the sign’s lost the ‘ro’).
That taj palace is a beautiful Indian restaurant

I agree. Had a couple of really nice meals in there. Prawn Jalfrezi and the chicken Biryani are fantastic.
