We are glad Ng to the market tomorrow as staying in Puerto Rico. Much as I expected. Looking forward to visiting the old town. We do the Anfi walk round this week after missing our bus stop. Free lunch, taxis and Palmitos Park tickets was a win 😂
Hope you enjoy it. A little chaotic for us, we went back earlier this year on a non-market day and it was really lovely. Hope you enjoy your time in GC though.
Definitely worth a trip along, even go on a non-market day. Be lively sat around the marina there or at the beach. Nice journey on the ferry across there
Been to Puerto Rico many times before and the best advice I could give is go to Mogan any day EXCEPT Market Day. Its mostly full of junk and fake clothes - very few local culture items... you will better see and feel Mogan's vibe any other day of the week
Hi Steven, yes we know that now but to be fair we did want to look at the market and show people what it was like too. We have seen it now so I doubt we would visit on market day again. I can imagine it being a lovely place when the market is not on. It is beautiful around the marina.
Hi,great video, you had a lucky escape with Anfi, before they used to give a carton of 200 cigs, yes,it's a hard sell, most people want to escape 🤣😅,nice video 🌴🌺🌴
Ha ha thanks Sharon. I wish we'd actually filmed the experience but it all happened so quickly and we had nothing with us. Resort was stunning mind but we aren't gullible like that.
For a nice quiet day in Mogan we get the bus to Mogan Pueblo - a beautiful ride up the valley to the old village for a couple of drinks and something to eat surrounded by the mountains, fare is only a couple of euros
Thank you for sharing this. We'll be staying in Puerto Rico this November so this would be an excellent adventure. Do the market holders accept card payments.
Thank you Lee, hope this was useful for you. We went back earlier this year on a non-market day and was even nicer. In terms of the card payments, I'm pretty sure some of the sellers did have card machines, but maybe not all. Maybe a good idea to take cash too.
Great video we love Mogan it's very pretty. Yes we only walked 10 min around the market and was very repetitive. I've never understood the Anfi hype myself. Looking forward to your next one .
Thank you Lynn , thanks for taking time to watch us. Yeah, pleased we've seen the market but not I'm a rush to get back. If we go to Mogan again it'll be on a non-market day for sure.
🤣🤣🤣We got lured into the Anfi trip too must be about 20 years ago after about 40 mins i said i felt sick and they sent us back in a taxi lol we use to love the boat trip to Mogan for the market mind you its a lot bigger market now
Yeah it's huge. We originally thought it was just that first part. The 2nd bit was even bigger and wouldn't have even known ot was there had we not cut up the side street.
We love Mogan we rented an apartment above the post office noisy on market days, no pool but if you go across the road the bar had a pool you could use if you ate there.
Mogan market is a nightmare, its best to go to the port on the boat on a day thats not market day! Deffo dont go on the bus on market day, made that mistake only once!! Came back to PR on the boat! The same market is on in Arguineguin on Tuesday but quieter, also available on the boat from the left marina (facing the sea left)
Time share guy didn't happen to be 6ft 5inch tall Greek guy with a beard? He had us just near Spar on the corner but we managed to escape before being bundled into the Taxi! Was there last month. Top videos, it's been nice to re-live our time there.
I wanted to do that trip in September for got to do different in May I be doing it been so many times thanks for showing me we done 2 timeshare one in anfi and got bottle off wine another one some we're else didn't by timeshare.
No we would never buy a timeshare, did considerl the holiday we were offered there next year but decided against it. Mogan is definitely worth a visit, maybe better on a non-market day though.
Thank you Alfi. There was a guy near Chester Beach Club and the Spar. He was basically trying to get us to Anfi tonbuy a place. We went just for the free boat tickets and wine with no intention of buying an apartment 🤣 just wanted the free stuff.
Great video. But my god that market I would not survive. Too busy for me. Rather a different day to enjoy the side streets for food and drinks. Looked lovely. You both looked red hot makes uk weather look stupid. Role on next video. Great work guys.
Thanks Anthro. Yeah it was absolutely scorching that day, and quite closed in when we discovered the 2nd part of the market. Got really busy too. Worth a visit but wouldn't go again. Would got back to Puerto de Mogan though as its lovely round the marina. Would go and spend some time in the cafe/bars and beach. Nice little trip on the ferry though.
@@continentalcoxons Bars and cafes and the beach looked great. Me and my wife are thinking of somewhere different to go next year she does like the look of Puerto Rico because of yout videos so cheers for that giving us ideas
Thanks for the walk through! I was at Playa De Ingles two weeks ago. I was going on an excursion to Morgan market that Friday but there were too few participants so It was cancelled. Heard from friends that it had been chaotic down there that day (sept 30th). Best regards, Cau
Hi Cau, thanks gorgeous watching and glad you found it helpful. We filmed this in on 16th Sept and was so busy. Maybe doesn't look quite as busy in camera, but believe us it was mental. Lots of pushing and shoving. It's worth a look but not sure we would go back.
The place itself is well worth a visit, beautiful place and a nice beach to sit and relax with plenty of restaurants lining the beach. Avoid going on a Friday if you don't want to go on a market day and you should be fine. Lovely round the marina there too.
I think the price of the boat might actually be on the video. I can't actually remember how much it was as this was a year and a half ago. Restaurant wise, there plenty of choice around the marina that caters for every taste really.

Gracias bonito video. Nosotros vamos para alla next week.
Gracias por los lindos comentarios. Esperamos que lo pases muy bien cuando vayas. ¿Te quedas en Mogán?
cafe de Mogan, is some of the best tapas I have ever had, on the port side
We have actually been in there as it happens. Is nice in there.
Thanks, I will definitely pay this a visit, will go early, the older part looked beautiful 🤗

There is also a market in MOGAN on a MONDAY that is more upmarket where local artists sell their work..
Oh that's interesting to know. Maybe worth a look of we get back there thanks for letting us know.

We actually drove through Mogan Pueblo when we got up into the mountains. It looked like a nice tranquil town.
A beautiful place to visit.Market days are chaotic.
Tell us about it, we were pulling our hair out that day 🤣

Sometimes you just fancy something familiar. Hanging a bit that day as well I think 😅🤭
We love Mogan we rented an apartment above the post office noisy on market days, no pool but if you go across the road the bar had a pool you could use if you ate there.
Sounds ideal. I'd imagine most places would probably get noisier on a market day.

About to visit this Friday whilst on holiday, should I visit it ? Like Jackie I get hot and flustered and don’t like the crowds etc.
The place itself is well worth a visit, beautiful place and a nice beach to sit and relax with plenty of restaurants lining the beach.
Avoid going on a Friday if you don't want to go on a market day and you should be fine.

How much is the boat to the markets and was there any English restaurants

Is the beach always closed due to sewage?
I'm not sure about that. We were there in September 2022 so not sure what the current situation is. I hope its not though 😔🤭
Markets are massively overpriced. Touristshops have the same things but a lot cheaper. You were so ripped off 😢
We looked in the shops and they were about the same price when we were there.
