Just left Puerto Rico on Saturday been going for many years one of the best resorts on the canary islands something for everyone and the atmospheres always amazing
Thanks for the Puerto Rico videos Kevin. A massive help for a first time visitor. Made it easy to navigate and loved the shamrock to see Kelly Marlow a couple of times. Keep up the videos you do a fantastic job
Lots of security patrolling about the Commercial Centre. They are notable by their absence in Europa. Bubbles is my vote for best restaurant in the CC.
Good insight into Gran Canaria over the last few weeks. We’ve always considered it but each resort seems to have the bars and restaurants in indoor shopping centres. Not a patch on south Tenerife for me.
How can you comment when you've not even been ffs 😂 Tenerife just miles and miles of the same thing, egg and chip restaurants and chavvy bars stinking of piss, I've been about 40 times so I know what I'm talking about, Gran Canaria blows Tenerife apart, more diverse with much more to see and do, Kev has missed so much, Amadores beach, Anfi, Arguinigan, Holiday World in Maspalomas, Playa Feliz etc he's not even touched the surface
@@bigchod-pv7eb The vast majority of opinions I’ve seen between those who have visited Gran Canaria and Tenerife, is that Tenerife wins hands down. It makes perfect sense. Who wants to go holiday and have their evening meal in an indoor market 😂 Tenerife will always be king 👑
Want to do this next year, off to Turkey Bodrum in March, Cyprus Protaras in June and Tenerife for September and Christmas.. thanks for another super vlog ❤
Loved your video of puerto rico at night... Nice to see the shamrock bar... Was there with my son many years ago... The place is buzzing... Keep up the good work a much better length video..👌
Nice to see someone at last doing a nightime video been here many times but not since covid great night life we used to always finish the night at the harp but i see its sadly not there taken over by extreme bar but have to say it looks ok in there anyway thanks for the video 👍
We have just got back from a five dayer here. That is about all you will need. There is a lot of choice for foodies - all the faves are there, Chinese, Indian, Pizza, Steakhouses aplenty. Also loads of bars. We stayed in the hotel Miriam, which was just about the cheapest - right on top of one of the hills though. A blue staircase takes you right down from there though (we only found it on the last day however!!). Otherwise, it is a bit of a faff getting down - the pavements can be a bit slippy. 3.85 euros for a taxi back up (only did that once!). Talk about cardiac hills elsewhere on the islands! Puerto Rico has them beat I think. The Shamrock bar was fun. Great live singers. It has just closed for a refurb, but there are other places that are great too. We loved Stanleys cocktail bar - brilliant drinks, well priced. A hidden gem, right at the back of the Shopping Center (near Shamrock bar - up the back stairs). For day trips, a bus to Puerto De Mogan was only a couple of quid, and it is beautiful there. Grit your teeth and head up to the viewing platform. The views are worth it. For a little cheapy getaway, it was perfect. Cheers for the vids Kevin, they really helped us plan what to do and where to go x.
@@ScotsmaninTenerife There is a good walk - head to the marina, and head right along the sea wall. Along the way, there is a break in the wall where you can climb down some steps. There live a massive amount of crabs, basking in the sun. Continuing, there is a random ice cream shop before you get to the next town along - Playa De Amadores. Not much there, but it is very pretty. You can't walk too much further along there, but it is a lovely walk there and back.
love puerto rico, coming over with the wife in May then back again for 2 weeks in July with my family my mum and dad and my sisters with there husbands. can't wait.👍🇪🇦😁🍻🌞
Love Fleetwood Mac. There's a UK based tribute band called 'rumours of Fleetwood mac' they're excellent. They have a channel if you're interested. Also check out the amazing version of Dreams by the Lanie Gardner.
Roll on 3 weeks time , can't wait , 5 years since we been . Eric's bar best mojito on the island. Russell's new xtreemes bar and happy valley best Indians in the world, and to watch the old firm in diceys
@bigchod-pv7eb Gran Canaria is no less commercialised and developed than Tenerife - and there's plenty of egg and chips available for British holidaymakers. Don't let's pretend it's a newly discovered, quaint part of Spain, untouched by tourism. And it's tatty.
@@jasongray4517 like I said mate, stick to Tenerife, it's full of pissed up brits abroad and egg and chip restaurants and nothing else Gran Canaria does have that especially in puerto rico however Gran Canaria is more diverse and has so much more to offer, I've been to both about 40 times each and there is no comparison Gran Canaria wins hands down plus the weather is nearly always hot and sunny, in Tenerife its nearly always bloody cloudy and overcast
