Hospital experiences can take years to process so the fact that months later you still have new thoughts on your experience is so valid absolutely has value. I had several traumatic surgeries 10 years ago and it took me well over 5 years to really process it, I still have moments of realization about what happened. I was 16-21 so there are a lot of things that I realized because I now have the adult perspective combined with education but a lot also just takes time and hindsight to really reflect on properly. In the moment we aren’t necessarily given the choice, the information to make the choice, the information to understand what is actually happening in that moment and especially as women we also aren’t always listened to and taken seriously when we’re experiencing the worst of it so it really can take years to unpack. I think there’s value in any conversation about medical experiences so please don’t hesitate!

You continue to do a public service talking about your birth experience and other parts of being a parent that are not picture-perfect! It's a feminist act to reveal these things. Women deserve medals for what we endure, and it's time more people actually understand that. Bravo!
Lisa & Jeff, i love this vlogmas💕 dont worry about what anyone thinks of you enjoy this time. Don't stress the dirty dishes or the clothes they will be there tomorrow. enjoy this time in your lives it goes so fast in a blink of a eye Annie will be going off to school then it goes even faster. Enjoy being parents ask for help I'm sure you have a great support system and they would love to help you out. Your mom would enjoy helping grandma's need to feel wanted and valued many of us dont want to overstep the boundaries so we wait to be asked and needed.
Lisa you are beautiful stop thinking negatively about yourself things will work out have fun on here. You are just going through a new transition im life it will even out. You have got this and you have a wonderful husband to help and encourage you and you to do the same for him. Never take each other for granted 💖

I think that's the best way to say it is that you're closing a chapter on other bloggers that talk about their pregnancy and their birth experience always feel unresolved when they don't finish out what they need to talk about and I think just in journaling and things that I do every day if I just don't finish the story I feel like it's still kind of a not a thorn in my side or just there's something still left to take out to put out there and to get out of my system and I think to complete your birth story it would definitely help others who are wondering or are experiencing the same thing you are You're amazingly so and your story is always welcomed here we love it! ❤ Meaning that we support you not meaning that I love the fact that you went through something traumatic but we're here for you and we are supportive of you and love you dearly!! ✨💗

I was Tuesday years old when I met with my dermatologist to discuss my hair. Found out I have an autoimmune disease, but I also have Telogen Effluvium, which is what PP hair loss also is! Lucky for me, I don't have children and this is just my body's fun way of messing with me. Lucky for you, my dermatologist said it just runs its course and eventually more of your hair will be in anagen phase (staying on your head) vs. telogen phase (shedding). Can't wait for us both!
Close the chapter and record your hospital birth story! It will be healing for you and interesting to me!

Lisa, much love! You think too much. If you weren't so sensitive to ingesting things, I'd suggest meds or just pot, since you live in a state where it's legal. Anything you think you need to say, you should absolutely say. We all will be here to listen. I just hate that you're in all this turmoil.
