Intermittent Cruise Control Issue 2018 Dodge Ram Pickup DIY Fix Brake Light Switch

Trying to fix a cruise control issue in a 2018 Dodge Ram? This video details one thing to try, and you can do it yourself. The issue with my cruise was intermittent and difficult to diagnose so replacing the brake light switch was tried first. This did not fix the cruise control problem in my truck but it eliminated one potential cause.
Trusted sources say the brake light switch in my RAM sends a signal to the system not only to turn the brake lights on and off but also provides information to the cruise control.
As the brake light switch wears the contacts can deteriorate and affect the way the cruise control works. I replaced that switch in this video.
