I did get a curing machine and a leveling table and a large UV lamp, for Christmas, my husband has been working on making me a resin station for them. I was able to set it up yesterday. It came out so nice, he put a marble tine on it as the top and put a molding around it to keep things from sliding off. I am so excited to use them, I want to make peeps for Easter.
Since they now sell the expanders as an option, it would be fun if someone did a test on the max amount of expanders you can use within the machine before it becomes too much and causes the castings to take longer than the 2 hours!

I would love to see that. But even if it does make it take longer. It still might be worth using if it's faster than simply setting it out.
You are such an amazing and positive salesman for these products! I think that seashell one would make a beautiful container especially. I would love to see it covered with a pinkish pearl mica powder on the inside area, and darker purples and deep pinks on the outside, with gold or silver glitter in clear to give it a deep hidden sparkle. These will all make sweet Christmas Gifts!

I love watching your videos. I always learn something and they always spark my imagination. I saw a comment on another video from a couple years ago that I was watching that called you the new Bob Ross and I second that wholeheartedly. I never leave your videos without a smile.
I just happen to have about 10 jade leaves propagating, if only I had the molds lol maybe I will be able to get a couple by the time they will be ready to transplant .they take the longest to propagate
You should probably avoid transparency for plants. Most roots don't like the light. It'll cause them to callous over and turn into stems basically.

Hi Steve, love your videos! 😁 Do you know if you can repeatedly put the same piece in the machine if you are doing layers? If you wanted 3 colours as stripes for instance… would it damage the first layers if you keep putting the same piece in for each layer?

I'm curious: how does the resin-curing machine affect the molds over time? Is it helpful because the resin is hot for less time? Or is it harmful because the temperature gets so high so fast?
