Thats gorgeous,,!
When you get 1 million subscribers will you put your play button in resin?
Awesome results !but if you dry the orbies nice and slow till the point their almost bone dry they will draw in the resin and become full size and solidly bonded
great lamp look if you plan to make more here's some ideas to make better ones for sale on your etsy
1. have a more slimmer core of reason made of the opeq white color for better defussion of light from top to bottom (this saves on reuse orbez latter on to get out of the resin on outer layer)
2. with a the orbez on the outer layer of maybe 2 to 3 rows around the core of the opeq white core you can try making a diy heater box to try to dry out the orbez faster or a dehydration machines to have them dry faster and less on the far inner part of core of them not coming out
3. color resin layer and most likely last layer is up to your choice cause depending if its a 2 or 3 layer of that obez pattern for the poor any defects/unfilled holes just chuck it on the layth thin the outside just a tad and sand to refit in same container to fill with a clear resin poor for a nice look at end
4 if you do read this and like the improved way of doing it make a video 2.0 update on it to see how it looks
I have a great idea do this again but make a strawberry .This seems to be the perfect texture/look
Imagine if you used clear orbeez. Then use a golden color resin. It would look like honeycomb. You could add decorative bees to it.
If you do this again, you should use the clear ones. They practically disappear when in liquid. Would save you the trouble of trying to remove them all
Or glow in the dark ones!!
That's a good idea
Then they would be just taking up space while looking like nothing is there, what would be the point?
@@Twoeggsq so it doesn't matter if you don't remove them. the point is what you just said.
Ben, I just found your channel about a month ago, and it has been amazing. I turn pens, and I admire your skills a great deal. That said, I enjoy your videos because you have such a wonderful personality, it’s like hanging out with a friend and watch something amazing come to life. Keep it up, cheers from Florida.
Thanks Mate 😊
As a guy that hasn't turned a pen in ages I agree that these are very cool projects. Kinda living vicariously here.
@@drstrangefart I've never turned a pen, but I enjoy fried chicken
I loved how this came out. Especially with a few of the dried orbeez still trapped.
I think these lamps would light up a bit better with a tube style light, instead of the pick just at the bottom. Like a lightsaber type. Maybe put a tube in the center before whatever you make with the resin?
Amazing work, Ben! Only a day or two ago, a huge water tank full of fish inside a hotel broke, here in Germany. Over 1500 fish were in that tank. A few people were hospitalized, but no deaths, as far as I know. Your lamp reminded me of that tank! Almost felt like a small tribute to all the poor fishies. Keep up the amazing work! I can't wait to see more!
Thankyou, yeah I saw that, it was so sad
I really like that you can still see some of the Orbees, and love that you can flip it for a different effect! ❤
Your voice is so calming and your videos are calming aswell
Thankyou
Love the purple side down! If you ever do this again, I think it would be extremely awesome if you shaved it off to look like a mason jar, and drilled a hole half way up in the middle and lit it up from the inside! Great job!
I think what I love most about watching your videos, is watching you explore your inquisitive and creative side. It’s just fun to watch and see what happens along with you man. Cheers!
Thankyou! 😊
Well that took longer than I anticipated🤣. I would swear for sure! Such a patient bloke Ben.
I LOVE the "under pressure" pressure pot ❤️
When it's all just a little too big, Freddie (the big pressure pot) is certainly the way to go!
amazing video! Just so you know, the chemical they use to make orbeez was invented partially to be a soil additive for droughts, to hold moisture for weeks if it has to and slowly release it. If you were to redo this pulling a vacuum if you can would help dessicate them faster, but you might have to literally leave them a month or two to get them all back to tiny plastic pellets.
You're both so chill and so chipper at the same time lol
Thankyou
5:32 lol I nearly spit my coffee out 😂
Oh wow those light differences make me think of the dawn and the dusk, I think both are lovely soft colors, and Id switch them out depending on the day! The Dawn and Dusk Lamp!
It's soooo beautiful! I like both sides!!!
Thanks Laura, me too
Ooof now my skin is crawling all over. I'm sorry Ben, I really tried to give it a fair shot. I'm sure it's absolutely gorgeous if you're not trypophobic. It's in my favourite colours too. I do love that you made it mood-lighting just by turning it over, though.
Thanks for trying, I really appreciate it 😊
Yeah, it got to me too. Trypophobia is just awful, especially when it interferes with a Ben’s Worx video!
You know, this didn't bother me. I think because it doesn't look organic enough. If it had been the inside of a sun flower, forget it...
@@JohnClark-tt2bl To me, it reminded me a lot of the comb from a wasp nest and good GOD that's awful, especially when it's full of larvae that all move in sync. *shudders* But that's the thing about trypo, there are some things almost everyone finds awful, but others that it just depends.
I'm trypophobic as well, and there were moments that nearly got me in this video, but I got through it :)
Wonderful work, Ben, and thanks for giving us the heads up that we might get triggered. Very kind!
I definitely like it when it glows blue! Super neat project!
I’ve gotten my grandmother suppppper into your videos! We both watch them each week and then call each other the next day to talk about them :)
Thankyou! I hope she feels better soon 😊
Absolutely perfectly perfect
Orbeez are great wee things, a life of their own 😂Love the lamp but what a time it must've taken you, Thank you so much. Think I'd have the blue look 👍🐾
Thanks Alison 😊
Ben,once again you outdid yourself with another great piece! Thanks for getting me through these past few years
Thanks Kevin, Take Care Mate
You completely beat yourself this time this is my most favorite thing you have made I'm in love great job
Thankyou 😊
Three (3!) pot cams!!! The first Orbeez lightning storm was the best.
Ben, I just want to say thank you for putting your respirator on, where we can see you doing it. I personally would love to see you do some content that is more a tutorial of how to work with resin and what that entails. I learned by accident that I should be wearing my respirator regardless that the resin I use is low odor - it's still not good for your lungs!!! I feel there is not enough content out there to education new users of resin to some of these safety fact. Also, how did you learn to use your vacuum pot? I searched for instructional videos and never did find any - I just learned through trial and error....Thanks again for your wonderful content.
Yessss Ben 👍 how dam cool did that turn out, and well done for mentioning Nick he is having a yt wobble and needs some extra love 💗
I do love your lights they are all so pretty ❤️ thanks for sharing
Thankyou
I'm always a fan of purple but either is beautiful!
Never knew I had a fear of holes until you mentioned it, that gave me shivers 😅 but no seriously thank you for your channel I love it!
The moods are both so different that I like them both!!!!
I think it turned out really cool. I love the lamp series. Crazy how those Orbeez work. 💖💖💖💖
Thanks Connie! Yeah they are pretty cool 😊
I love the under pressure sticker
Love them both!
Thankyou
I love watching your videos; not only do you create wonderful things, there's something oddly comforting about the music you play.
Thankyou
@@BensWorx What is that main song? Shazam doesn't seem to know it (it finds a different song). 🤔
Soo colorful and cool looking
Thanks Stacey 😊
This is a gorgeous piece
Very cool! I love how that turned out.
Thankyou
Love it when a project comes together ❤
Thankyou 😊
I ain't gettin on no plane Hannibal
Amazing how symmetrical the orbees settled in the resin, causing such an evenly spaced spiral..
great channel. been almost a year now.
Thankyou, I really appreciate it
Gosh both are pretty but I like it with the clear side down. Thanks for sharing 🎄🎄🎄
Thankyou
Hi Ben. They remind me of honeycomb from bees. I think I like the clear on top. It's very cool!!!
Thanks Ellis 😊
I love how it reminds of the ocean, lighter blue shallow water and darker blue deeper water
Gorgeous!
Thankyou
This turned out great!!!
Thankyou
5:26 Sorry, I'm a child and just about cried laughing about your shrinking balls. Loved the video!
Ooh sick and cool idea!!
Thankyou
That turned out awesome, and prefer the colour of it when you turned it over
Thankyou
It's beautiful both ways.
I love the color when you turned it over. Pretty cool project all the way around.
Blue to the top is my preference xxxx
The master of the double entendres
I think it is one of your projects that i liked the most!
This is soo cool!!! ❤️❤️❤️👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
That turned out so well! Great job. You always have such unique projects.
Thankyou
Beautiful lamp!
I just love it❤️❤️
very nice Ben. Thanks for the video.
Thankyou
That's really cool! I like how you get two different looks by turning over.
Thankyou
If the first pour around the orbeez was a darker color to leave the voids left for a lighter colored resin, it looks amazing in my head. Thank you!!! I appreciate what you share!
Thankyou
I love them both sides!
That was cool! Enjoyed
Thanks Glenn
That was pretty cool to have it both ways, good idea. Great Job my friend.
Thanks Gary 😊
That was a fun one !!!
Thankyou
You glued that light down before plugging it in and testing it. You Maverick, you. 😂
😂
Love love love it and the second side is so neat great job
Cool! Very cool! Love the "reversibility" of the light. Keep up the great work!
Cool... I like the all blue look, it kind of looks like it is under water.. I hope that you and your family have a wonderful holiday season.
Thank you! You too!
Beautiful 💙💙
Thank you! 😊
Guess who found the video, lol. Anyway, I love the blue. And I love your videos! But I have to say, your Wasp lamp is my all time favorite! I'm sure there will be more. 🙂
Great job dude!
What a great project that turned out to be. I prefer the blue side on the bottom.
What a beautiful lamp. Fantastic work as always! Looking forward to seeing your next creation!
Thankyou
Cool! nice work sir.
I liked it both ways. If I had something like that, I would probably alternate it.
Looks Very Nice Ben.
Thanks!
Blue looks cool
Oh Ben, I really like this.
Wonderful 👍💜👍
Thankyou 😊
I actually love the rainbow sprinkle of orbeez left inside. So cool how different it looks upside down!
Lovely lamp I like how you did it. I like both ways. Thanks for a great video. Amanda x
This reminds me a lot of honey comb, makes me hungry as well as wanting one in an amber color scheme.
I like the clear/purple side down... the purple blends into the blue. Its cooler IMO...
i really liked this. i feel you should have put this on a fan and left it for awhile. the orbez get even smaller in size then what yours were. they were not dried out yet
I think it looks amazing both ways
Beautiful lamp I like it with the blue at the bottom
You did a terrific job
Thanks Melissa 😊
Definitely something different and very cool love it
Thank you!
Some mighty fine sound clips in this one.
I love it with blue down.
I love your lamps!
Thankyou
Really like this. I like how you developed it along the way too, making what could have been a bad thing, a good thing.
Both ways are cool.
Dual sides, I love this. Very beautiful. I like it both ways.
Thankyou
Cool light
Very cool! I like it better with the clear part on top.
Thankyou
The holes are super gross, but the happy music at the end gets me every time. How can you not appreciate what was made when it's presented like that?
I like the blue side Ben 👍
Looks cool with the little orbeez still spotted through. If you did this same thing, but instead of removing the orbeez after they shrink I bet it would be so colourful! They would be less dense then and let light through better
Very cool lamp, Ben!
Thanks Martin
That looks wicked Ben great job dude
Thankyou
I really like this one very pretty!
Thankyou
This turned out nice. I prefer it with the purple side down, that way you see the purple and the blue. Well done
Thanks Kim 😊
