Got any suggestions on where I should go next? Let me know!!!
Welcome to iTripReport's flight reviews, which I focus on reviewing both the soft product and hard product of airlines around the globe. I strive to give you guys a first person perspective of different aspects of the flight. Including the ground service, onboard service, and those views that come with the flight. As you can see, I record quite a lot of the experience to make sure I record what you want to watch. As always, thank you so much for watching.

Thank you for putting this out so that we could see flying in the age of covid-19 from a real experience.
I have to chime in here. As far as love-hate goes, I hope they didn't make it sound like it was Delta vs. McDonnell Douglas. We would have put galleys any damn where they wanted. It was Delta's choice on how to config the interiors, except for the aft lavs, the climate control, new grab rail overhead bins, PSEs and IFE, the rest of the choices were Delta's. We even succumbed to Delta's stupid [F-15 style] VSCF drives that added too much weight and complexity to the airplane, one of the main reasons it was not a commercial success. At one point they wanted fewer seats and asked us to put 2,000 lbs of ballast in the nose to offset the new engine installation. It was our fault the pylon T/E had flaps on them and Rohr made the reversers too heavy. It wasn't possible to remove the aft airstairs either due to egress certification. So the airplane did not take full advantage of the more efficient engines and it was not a huge success. There was a plan to fix all this but no budget. So anyway, some Delta people may not like the -90, but they got it the way they asked for it.
QFS + iTripReport crossovers are the best
Agreed!
World’s most anticipated crossovers in all of RUclips history
Yeah! You guys are a great team
Michael sharp He already did! Do you not remember me telling you that?!
Thanks for sharing this video. It's the end of an era for sure. Delta took good care of these planes. Great send off for the MD-80 and 90, proudly built in my hometown, Long Beach, CA.
The new logo and intro is fire 🔥. The MD-90 was the first aircraft I ever flown on, it holds a special place in my heart.
The first aircraft I flew on was a continental airlines 737-300 and -500
I flew on an MD-90 and an MD-88 a few years ago from Atlanta to Cleveland if i remember right. The MD-90 was my favorite of the 2. The takeoff on the 90 really pushed you back in your seat.
Delta should have kept a MD90 at its museum.
Nice trip report, I always love Delta Airlines!
ive been following quintin since 1-2018....my #1 plane guy✈✈✈✈✈
🤘🤘🤘🤘
Why no water cannon salute for that old bird? As I recall you got two of them the next day on the MD 88! Nice job Emil and sidekick QFS❤️👍✈️
10:05, RIP watter bottle, almonds, and Kind Bar
Nice video, wish I could have gotten one last ride on one of these too, bet that CFA breakfast slapped tho
hope you enjoyed your brief visit in my hometown. thanks for sharing your video!
Nice & clear images, great camera ! congrats
Great video man! Really enjoyed it and I will certainly miss that bird. Made many good memories on the maddog and it brought me home safe. Maddog forever!
thanks itrip...quintin is a super cool guy...glad you guys enjoy the planes as much I do...✈✈✈✈✈✈✈
9:45 hang in there ceiling. You're almost done
Brilliant trip report. So sad to see them being retired, I haven't got a chance to fly on them before
Great review as usual! Love how your video starts up. I'm barefoot with that on my channel for the time being. Ill have to find out how to have a unique start up when I post videos. Ill be reviewing Deltas A-330-300 in Comfort Plus from JFK > TLV in August this year...
living in cali in the 80's....flew on AirCal and PSA...PSA used the BAe146 at MRY....while AC was out of SJC...a hour drive north
Flew on a MD-90 once, when American had just acquired some from their purchase of Reno Air. This was back in 1999 and the plane seemed rather new. The weird thing was - the outside was painted just white with no lettering or logos (American had removed all Reno Air branding), and hadn’t painted it over to their colors yet. Was flying LAS to SFO with a stop in SNA.
I flew that same exact aircraft about a week before you lol and on the same route. I sat over in 34E.
She finally gets some love
I've been on a Delta MD-90 before just once if I can remember correctly. I've also been on many MD-88's. Sad to see the Mad Dog fleet go!
Jaweria Api
Love the report!
I flew this exact plane the Saturday before its retirement, seat 36e. Gonna miss this bird
Awesome trip report!
I flew on an MD-90 once. It was from ATL-TPA. I was supposed to be in 32A, but there was a system glitch in economy class seating (according to Delta) where everyone in economy’s seat was randomly switched. I was assigned a middle seat with limited recline and I couldn’t change since it was a full flight :(
the MD90 had a special feature........Due to the heavier engines, the engine pylons feature flaps that deflect 30° downward to assist in pitching down for stall recovery. The system activates automatically when the control column is pushed fully forward.[13]
First, Nice Vid!
Interesting how on the 88s it's 2-3 config but for the 90s it's 3-2.
😞😞😞😞 farewell MD 90 one of my favorite!
I’m going to miss watching them takeoff like a rocket from CVG Viewing area.
Loved the video!
The MD-90 has the most unique sound! Although it is in matches the MD-88
my question is, why was the MD-90 retired if those aircrafts were fuel efficient (yet) the IAE V2533D-5 is a version with lower emissions (being compared with the IAE V2533-A5 of the A32F)
It's all about money and maintenance.
My parents got to fly on an MD83 for American. Sad to see these birds go, never got a chance to ride one.
Butter landing
wish all seats were the same width in economy...i miss the old days...the cheap seats were equivalent to todays domestic first class......thanks 👁trip
i will miss the beautiful sound coming from the old but very reliable JT8Ds.....i was on the 727 more than the DC9/MD80s
It sounds just like an A320!
Im so sad these are going
love your vids
Nice video! I have a question, how you afford travel a lot and do you do it in your free time?
Jeezus- could you make the subtitles any larger?
Awesome video as usual, I live pretty close to IAH, it's a really nice airport right?
I live about a half-hour north of IAH,off of 59,north of Kingwood--where are you?
haha mood lighting in the loo
if you wanted a quite trip...you were seated upfront....and if you enjoy 360 engine sound.....you got the last seat
Extra emil ✨🧚♀️
How was the holiday Inn, I stayed at the doubletree and it was pretty bad, they wouldn't pick me up or drop me off at the airport and uber was a hassle and they gave me a dirty room
Gonna miss the MDs :(
2:40 I wonder if Captain Joe is on that B747?
ok
@@Tayyyyyyylore ok
Gonna miss the Mad Dog.
nice sound but can't match the beautiful JT8D'S on the 80/88
I wonder what sort of mood light is needed for constipation at 35,000 feet.....
10:05 LOL
I saw one of the passengers almost dressed like a cowboy
I wish I flew the 90 I only flew the 88
How do you not get motion sickness flying so much? I love flying but get really sick. Any tips?
You get used to it after a while.
Stroopwafels, are you Dutch?😉
Eat the healthy food
👎Again at the end of your video you wrote a lot...👎
