Hello again Carda. After a reinstall of the MD80 I am trying to mod it back into the MD90. The link is dead for the "Current IAE FFA320 Mod" that you have listed above for the engines. Is there another place I can download these engines. I tried a more recent IAE V2500 mod of yours for the 319/320/321 but those engines have the pylon attached to them and is not working with the MD 80. Thanks hope to hear back from you soon.

@Carda Jowol: has this been confirmed to be working on XP12/with the Rotate MD-80 1.50 package? It didn't work for me previously, and I figure maybe I screwed up and would try again, but if it's known broken, obviously I'd like to avoid wasting the time.

For the sound pack the instructions say to rename md80.snd to Rotate-MD-80-XP11.snd however there is already a file with that name and a different size in the folder.

You don't have to rename it, just drag and drop the files (replace as needed)

I really want this to work but it seems the engines have been updated as the placement doesn't work correctly anymore, I tried to place them myself but they're not sitting on the pylon properly, could you give updated instructions using the new link you gave further down in the comments? best regards

Do we need to have the IAE mod installed on the FFA320 First before doing the MD90 Mod? Excellent tutorial. Im about to get to work on modding my MD80!!!

Nevermind lol Mod all done. Got the Fmod IAE sounds as well. Now for a test flight...Thanks and I too am looking forward to the A320 Sharklet tutorial. Would lso love to see a tutorial on the IAE Mod for the FF A320 as well if you are up to it.

Thank you SO much for this!! My only hiccup is that the nose landing gear has lost its texturing. Any ideas as to why this occurred and how to fix it?

Copy both md80_cola_izq_NML.png and md80_cola_der_NML.png also in the IAE Folder or the objects folder too

Will this also change the engine performance to match the MD-90, or is it only aesthetic?

This alone is just going to be the aesthetic changes, but you can change the weights and the engine thrust in planemaker, the match the MD-90

@@willf3825 thanks! This tutorial marked the first time I've ever messed with plane maker. Do you know if anyone has written up how to go about making those performance edits?

@@piedmonitor So for the engine specs, you are going to want to click on Standard....Engine Specs....Click on Engine 1 tab (if not already selected)....Change Max Allowable thrust to 25,000 then close the page and the engines should be good. W/B, go to Standard.... Weight and Balance....and Change the Empty Weight to 88,200 ; Max Allowable Weight to 156,000 ; Max fuel load should be 39,128. Close the page, save it and you should be good. It wont be exact, but it will at least change the thrust and a/c weight to match the 90.
