Great videos from IET thanks. Love to see the overall energy (and environmental impact) balance of this. The burning of methane releases CO2 and whereas the burning of Hydrogen doesn't so we seem to have a clean energy trade-off here? What are your thoughts on the current state (in particular cost of H fuel cells?
you can inject pure hydrogen in the natural grid too.. then it can be extracted pure with the help of filters in any point of the net. You are still far to reach the 5% or 15% mix in the natural grid.. the natural grid is also changing to plastic, so.. it would be able to stand more hydrogen then.
@@aaronchin7563 pure Hydrogen would damage some of the existing network because some alloys get very brittle trough exposure to H2. By adding a small percentage of H2 to the natural gas mixture you can transport H2 in the existing network.
50% efficiency on an already minuscule roi. Be honest. Spain solar already failed. It's time to start telling people they have to reduce quality of life or risk war. There is no overunity and we're out of time.
Hope this will be a thing in the future. LNG transport is so much safer than H2
outstanding work and new technology
I loved the explanation
It was very helpful for me

C02 was input and output, so net zero unlike fossil fuel.
what are the quantities in play? where is CO2 taken from and how?How much energy is needed for the whole process?
Natural gas flue exhaust. The round trip efficiency is about 63% with waste heat recovery at the Audi plant in Germany.
Power plants, Blast furnaces for steel production, Cement plants, Fertilizer plants all produce vast quantities of concentrated CO2.

@@aaronchin7563 Cheaper and better efficiency since you don't need to store this hydrogen.
I bought instruction from inplix and I built it very cheap.

you are dumb..
cannot tell people to reduce their quality of life, go live in a forest if you feel guilty about ur lifestyle
