Your videos have been super helpful for me. I don’t have a scooter yet but I’m doing lots and lots of research to find the right one for me and you have been so, so, so helpful! Thanks for all of this information! From Austin, TX.
I agree I would have picked the same one. Practical, good looking, some safety AND lots of pockets! Also it looks like really good quality. The last one is hard to tell from a video but I think you can be my judge on that one. Good choice! Another thing that came to my mind. Long sleeves are only a plus when you are riding. Making sure there are no cold wind going up between your gloves and the jacket. Stay safe! 😎
Really nice jacket. My saving grace has been heated gloves. $ 200 but a real game changer in letting me ride the scooter all year round here in Maryland
I’m buying a pair this year! I can’t handle the frozen hands again, and what I have becomes unbearable for me if it’s 40F out! I can layer my upper & lower body, but the hands….!
That is so nice! I think this was my 3rd video or so. I'm getting more comfortable, but it's easier to talk to the cold, black box when I think of folks like yourself who comment. I really do trade out names when I hit record! I'm all ears if you have anything in particular you want to talk about when it's your turn on the other side of the blank lens!
Great video for comparing the jackets! Kudos for the height/weight info! My 5'8" build is in the mid-200's (need to lose a ton of weight!). My husband convinced me to try the Icon Contra 2 men's jacket with the armor built in for the warmer weather. Way more than I wanted to pay but I couldn't find anything much in the plus sizes for women or that I liked. I'm definitely 'roly poly' in the jacket but it's actually really cool with the mesh and I can put the removable light weight quilted liner for cooler riding. Glad I found your videos!
Motorcycle jackets just really aren’t flattering to those with curves! I went into a gear store for my first jacket, and I didn’t realize the bottom was adjustable. I ended up buying a jacket too large really to accommodate my overt hips. 😂 Shopping for clothes is hard but gear is MUCH harder!! Kudos for wearing the gear & finding something that works!!
I generally wear a mesh jacket that has a removable liner in the budget gear section of the gear page here: scootersfornewbies.com/scooter-products-i-love/ My husband wears the Sedici one. That said, I got lost this weekend, my phone overheated & my attitude was poor in the 100+ heat on some less than ideal back roads in Houston. I'm now in the market for something else. lol I'll report back, but I'm going to look into a mesh shirt I've read about first.
@@pamelaryan8753 Revzilla is a motorcycle gear store. Way more selection than my local options and places like Amazon. Great customer service, as well. I only wish they'd let me try 5 jackets & return 4! :D
Has your jacket got any built in armour protection .if not it`s a waste of time ,and never buy any leathers from Amazon ,go to a proper stockist, ask yourself how much is my arm worth back ,shoulder , same goes for helmets , never wear an open face ,and buy the best you can ,not the cheap one ,it`s your head/brain inside it

How are you liking it now? I will be shopping this month for one
@@janettcotton4161 I do like it, and I wear it in the winter still. I have a 4 seasons mesh version for the summer that is a staple, though!
