Nice ride. There is a big difference between your area and mine - no way to avoid traffic and have high speed limit rides. The set up looks great - nice job! Appreciate the comment about using all your time 🙂. Were you happy with your new aux tank set up and case?
That’s awesome! I could totally see myself doing that on a good weekend sometime. Different place of course but a good 24 hour adventure. Do you always go alone? Friends think you’re crazy?
Well done. Especially with the hot weather. I was in TX a few weeks ago, and it was quite toasty. I have a question: Has your K bike been stable, and ok in crosswinds? I'm considering a GTL or a Grand America, but I have seen some stability concerns, some think the addition of a top box is causing issues. Thanks again for your great content. A BBG is something I'd like to do also.
I can say that I have never felt that any cross winds were an issue, I will also say, that while I was shopping for the new bike, I was looking at the GTL/B/and GT, and my Sales guy that I am good friends with advised me to stay away from the B due to some handling issues, I didn't ask what as I took his word. I have a friend that rides the GTL at high speeds and he hasn't had any issues...Dave
Stephen, Well I love the GS/A, and I do mean that. But if you are looking to pound out big miles the K1600 does that better. The K 1600 has an overall amazing seating position, not seat, but seating position. I rode this 1500 mile day and never once was I sore or knees or back hurt. Also in the same area, the wind protection on the K bike is much better. With the adjustable windshield and side vents you can move air to different places on your body. GSA: Its so versatile, it does everything you can ask well, but not great. Pounding out miles alone on an Interstate or Highway there are better motorcycles for that. Dave
The Aerostitch is great. Morning part of the ride the temperature was in the low 70's, the afternoon and evening it was 109. The Stitch flows enough air to keep me comfortable the entire time. Never had to take it off to cool down...Dave
You’re my hero!
HAHA...Thanks for watching Flash...Dave
Good on ya!!
Thanks....Dave

Aux Tank/ Pelican case were great no issues at all. Gotta tweak on my phone/ tank bag deal but those are minor issues...Dave

99% of the time it's by myself, I've done 1 SS1000 with a few others and it was a blast, but most of the time im by myself...Dave
That’s a hell of a ride.
Thanks...Dave

Hey Dave. What seat setup did you run on this BBG? Glad the bike did good!
Russell Day long....always
Dave so what is did you like about the new bike and or not like compared to the GS 1250?
