I feel you're going to smoke the clutches when its slipping that bad on the shifts. Have the tuners go look up a stock 6r80 file on HPT for clutch fill times and pressures on clutches during shifts to build off of or ask for you stock TCM file from Lund and see if they'll send it to the trans tuners.. Another thing required IMO is the need to have the valve bodies code for the solenoid response times to be 100% proper, unfortunately that code only relates to ford's scan tool to look up these timings on their end and load them into the TCM without ever being seen.
LOL some friend and I when younger lost so many of those rubber suction darts working at a gas station, always wondered how many they found in the years after us.

Think of it like a 2J but with a huge bore and it makes sense why they sound mean and make so much torque. They're a 4L that in N/A taxi form make noticeably more power and torque than the 4.6L V8 in the crown vics

We have the coyote here so no one in thier right mind would go through all the hassle to import and build the barra when the coyote is far more superior. We have 800-1000hp bone stock engine with power adder coyotes here. So believe me when I tell you the barras will definitely be staying in Australia dude.
As a guys who's built a few cars over the years , I can appreciate the amount of work that went into this car. Definitely way more difficult than most people think. Especially getting the electronics to work. Excellent job guys!

What’s crazy to me is how I started watching Adam on his bike doing tricks trying to learn them while in 6th grade. And now next week I’m moving out to attend the same college Adam did. It’s crazy to see how much he’s grown

Best thing about the barra engine is their a low rpm tourqe motor, in stock form in the na or boosted variants their very tourqey down low which is why you touch the throttle and its ready to go, not ready to go after 5000 rpm, the joys of a 4.0 litre 6 banger 👌
Its so good to see this engine being so popular in usa! Knowing us aussies made one of the best engines in the world! These will be highly sought after in future. Hopefully a company can make aftermarket blocks and parts so the barra never dies. These engines go hard. I have a 500hp built one myself in a falcon.
Only reasons i love ford is because of BARRA. That engine is just out of this world. Owned xr6 turbo with 700 hp. It is the best thing happened to me even thought it was my fast turbo car but come back to it again
But yeah Adam get yourself a 3800rpm street stall they’re called, (3800rpn torque converter) they run perfect and shift way smoother, you also gotta be in it for it to shift smooth ;)
I live so far away , but i am just as much excited as you are of seeing this motor unleash hidden potential. I had only heard the name of such engine existence , never literally heard it. When you started the engine for the first time i literally thought it was a V8 , but then i checked online and i was like whaaaaat "A FRIGGIN INLINE SIX" gave me goosebumps? Its so good to see this engine being so popular in usa! Knowing us aussies made one of the best engines in the world! These will be highly sought after in future. Hopefully a company can make aftermarket blocks and parts so the barra never dies. These engines go hard. I have a 500hp built one myself in a falcon.

Owned xr6 turbo with 700 hp. It is the best thing happened to me even thought it was my fast turbo car but come back to it again
But yeah Adam get yourself a 3800rpm street stall they’re called, (3800rpn torque converter) they run perfect and shift way smoother, you also gotta be in it for it to shift smooth ;)
3800 would be way too high for a 6R80, better off having a lower stall and taking advantage of the short gearing. Should reach 6k at 60kph in first.

I live so far away , but i am just as much excited as you are of seeing this motor unleash hidden potential. I had only heard the name of such engine existence , never literally heard it. When you started the engine for the first time i literally thought it was a V8 , but then i checked online and i was like whaaaaat "A FRIGGIN INLINE SIX" gave me goosebumps? Just like how you say it , "Gnarly" . Anyways GOD bless this build. Cheers!
