M50 has the lowest quality color available on any modern camera. It gives everyone a uni-color flat-pancake face with zombie skin tones and low dynamic range. And it does support C-Log or anything. It's going to be extremely difficult.

@@zyxyuv1650 there is a lut for the m50 but it suck as much as cinestyle log profile. At only 8 bit, there is very little you can do in color grading. There luts for cinestyle but it's only a starting point.
Duuuuude stop making videos about the M50. We can't let everybody know the secret: *that the M50 is one of Canon's best cameras, especially for under $600 (I paid $559) on eBay - brand new with kit lens.*
And definitely don't tell people about how *the 4K video is actually very usable if you're shooting static or parallax shots, and not whip pan like a crazy person... and that 4K codec is actually very good with a small data footprint, with rich colors, amazing skin tones and a ton of shadow detail*
AND DEFINITELY DO NOT TALK ABOUT HOW *WELL IT BALANCES SO WELL ON A ZHIYUN CRANE, ESPECIALLY THE "V2," WHICH IS STUPIDLY NAMED CONSIDERING THERE IS ANOTHER "2" MODEL*

Haha - Damn... awesome work though - would be interesting to see a DJI Ronin S vs Zhiyun gimble showdown on an A7Sii ... slowly you could compile various routine workout segments in each gimble video for your multi 8-16 disc dvd set. :D ( PS nice shot @ 3:35 - streetwalking - 50fps ? )

What frame rate you shooting b roll in?
I love my M50 for video, and it was great outdoors, but was honestly disappointed in low light performance of the kit lens.. and then I got the Canon EF-M 22mm f/2 STM Lens
If it helps anyone, it was a night and day difference when I compared the video I took with the 22mm with the 15-45 kit lens. So much brighter, so little noise, and the depth of field was far nicer
Thanks for your help. Another question. The 22mm doesn't have IS image stabilization. So is it big problem when you record video? Gimbal for camera is rather expensise in my country. I wonder if Cannon M50 and the 22mm is ok without gimbal

@@HuongNguyen05 You'll have camera shake without the Gimbal, but it isn't necessary to have it. Your videos will shake .

I'm using the Crane v2 with my Lumix G7. Took it with me on a trip to Seattle and it was easy to work with, but definitely after a while, a bit cumbersome with the combined weight. It was a bit of an inconvenience when I wanted to take stills with it, but for all the video clips, it came out fantastic! Nice work on this video man!

Great video overall, I honestly prefer the Gimbal. Yea it reduces the amount you shoot, but I'd prefer quality over being convenient. It just depends what you overall want in a vid.

Had the first Zhiyun Crane, Loved it. Upgraded to RONIN -S (Liked it but hated the Weight and how Bulky it was), watched your video.... GOT ME WANTING THE V2 for compatibility .
Great test of the gimbal and stock M50 kit lens. Showed the strengths and limitations of the camera. The EFM 22mm f/2 would have been better in low light and more compact. Or EFM 28mm Macro F/3.5 with light ring lens. The gimbal b-roll looked was smooth and cinematic. You both looked awesome walking up walls. Liked the whole video 👍

I'm on the verge of canceling my Ronin-S preorder and just picking up one of these due to the wait time. I think the Rode Videomicro will fit while inverted due to the smaller overall footprint, rear protusion included.
I love my Canon m50! Definitely going to consider the gimbal now. Currently using the Patekfly tripod and it's worked well so far! Keep up the good work.
