It's taken for granted since every college kid has one by default now, but a MacBook back then still wasn't the status symbol it was yet. (Blackberries and the iPhone was still becoming mainstream)

The Tom Green Show was my favorite show in the 90s....even tho it wasn't my show. I used to stay up late on school nights to watch. I taped over the holes of my dads VHS videos of "this old house" so I could record the TG Show them over them....now its 2020 in a pandemic and I find myself watching the TG Show while quarantined in my house. These are disturbing times but I'm comforted by my old favorites. Thanks @TomGreen ! Your still my hero!

This just takes me back to then, the advent of internet culture, the evolution of tech/entertainment/everything. Pre 9/11, pre GFC, in hindsight, what a fucking time. Love you man, a huge underdog inspiration for all the dada comedy over the last ten years. I spend a huge chunk of my RUclips time just watching Norm these days, one of the best of all time, so this has been a fuckin' rush.

I remember watching this Live when I turned 20. It was my favorite show at the time. Tom and I both got into Skype when calling regular phones was free (I think this was Skype beta). I really miss those days and wish I could go back. Thank you for many great years Tom. I hope to see another web show like this from you soon.

Tom is very good at keeping things on track as it's very easy to go off the rails with Norm. Absolutely so glad I got to hear the backstory on the View interview since I've been watching videos of Norm and saw it the other day and thought it was so great how awkward he made everyone but just kept doing his thing. I met Tom Green at the Halifax liquor Dome one night and he was the coolest, humblest guy. After like 5 minutes talking Phil and Glen came up to tell him to come dancing with them and Tom Green was like No, I'm talking to Billy here. I was floored. It is really cool to see more pioneering entertainment from Tom Green. He started the shock tv and here, the video web cast. He makes me proud to be Canadian.He signed a seatbelt ticket I had. :)
