The IS-3 (also known as Object 703) is a Soviet heavy tank developed in late 1944
V12 Diesel Engine with a weight of 46,500 kg
It's quite nimble for its almost 50 ton mass
for only 20hp per ton it really is

So far I know yes, it's called Nuts Day in Belgium. I've been here multiple times but this time I was lucky to see this Russian tanks in action. Other years they drove 3 other tanks that were less impressive I must say
@@Lemans15 Thanks for this information, it seems a beautiful event. Near my town, there's a museum, and they rarely take them out and do works. When happens it's always an excellent opportunity to feel those engines, and the ground vibrates 😅

I understand ISU-152 was much easier to drive because it had a planetary steering mechanism where as T-34 was all brake and clutch and you can see the difference where this looks alot smoother and most likely even less tiresome. What a beast - and that IS chassis makes me want to sign my ass up to be in this on the Eastern Front! Let's knock out those heavy baddies!
