    If one takes metformine can one take berbetine
    Kindly reply

      Its best to take supplements as per the advice of your doctor, particularly if you have diabetes or any other conditions. Berberine might interact with metformin, which may enhance its sugar lowering effects and side effects. This interaction seems to show up when berberine is taken around 2 hours before metformin. Taking berberine and metformin at the same time doesn't appear to increase the amount of metformin in the body.
      This effect also depends on the dosage of these medications. Pay close attention to your blood sugar readings and side effects like nausea and abdominal pain. If you notice these side effects or your blood sugar is getting too low, then discuss it with your healthcare expert and get the dosage adjusted. Hope that helps!

    Great report but sauerkraut is loaded in salt-read the salt content on the bottle and you will be surprised.

      That's a great point! Sauerkraut is high in sodium salts and people watching their sodium intake should be careful about how much they consume it. Sauerkraut may contain as much as 938 milligrams of sodium per cup (142 grams) and that's why its usually recommended to start with one tablespoon (10 grams) per day and avoid consuming more than 6 tablespons (60 grams) per day.

    Is soy milk good for Kidney patients?

    • @HealUbyUs
      @HealUbyUs  13 дней назад +2

      Soy milk can indeed be a good choice for kidney patients. In fact, the National Kidney Foundation recommends soy milk to kidney patients on dialysis, due to its protein content. That said, it's really important to adjust your diet overall if you're adding soy milk to your diet. You can get help from a kidney dietician for that, to ensure that your overall protein, potassium, and overall nutrient intake doesn't exceed the amount recommended for you. Hope that helps! ❤

    Is it Shirataki or Shitake?

    • @HealUbyUs
      @HealUbyUs  6 дней назад

      Both are different things. Shirataki is a common name for Japanese noodles, while shitake (also named as shiitake/shittake) is a type of edible mushroom that's native to Eastern Asia but is nowadays cultivated around the globe. Hope that helps!
