16:30 is so crappy. But my biggest complaint so far is the lack of sounds that would make the game so much more immersive. Like when you dive into the water and it sounds like a you just dipped your foot in. That kind of stuff brings me right back into the room I’m in and reminds me this is VR. But most everything I’ve seen looks incredible. I was only able to play it for like 20 minutes.
Interesting game - kind of reminds me of a Tomb Raider game with all the jumping and climbing around. First time I hve seen this game.

If you miss just 1 scrap item you can't upgrade your gun
You have to search everywhere to find every last scrap item. They only put just enough throughout the map to upgrade your weapon
You can only upgrade your weapon 2 times
You spend over half the game picking up scraps and after all that the gun upgrades aren't necessary to complete the game
You can kill all enemies with just 2 shots
But the aiming is off so much you have to shoot at it 6-8 times just to hit it 2 times
The floating purple mines can only be destroyed by shooting them from above or below. If shoot them on any side nothing happens
40 dollars was too much for this game
It's advertised as a FPS but it's really just a scavenger hunt for 4 hours
If you don't do the scavenger hunt
Because it's really not necessary
The game is only 2 hours long for 40.00
That's too much
Too bad because the graphics are great

I have never heard such unnatural voice acting lol. But the game looks beautiful!
I don't know about PC (this is an early PC version of the game in this video), but for the later released PS VR2 version (and the Quest 2 version as well) they changed the main voice actress. Lucia (who is controlling and speaking through the floating sphere drone in the game) has a completely new voice actress and she is so much better (the new voice actress has a very nice Australian accent and is actually pretty good).

Wait a. Min 2:46! You used cyan to upgrade the gun! I thought it was for the printing quest item.. Ugh and all those potions they don't go in your backpack??? I made loads they ain't there... I might have to go back to upgrade the gun because last time I missed an upgrade I couldn't beat the level
2:50:56 WTF whenever I get here, I just automatically die instantly. Doesn't look like you're doing anything differently. Edit: Oh, squeeze triggers to go faster, got it.

Ive done the same thing 50 to 100 times. I speed up, i die. I go slow, i die. I go slow to speed up, i die....f@#king brilliant. I am really getting sick to death of this game.
I've just got to this bit can't get past the gunship at all! I'm pressing bith triggers going fast as I can just die everytime 😢
as good the visuals are...as weak is the sound FX and especially the voice acting of Mr.McCool, your friendly sidekick NSC - he never gets afraid, never loses his temper - it all just a fresh breezen a relaxing vacation....and yeah during fights: absolutley no feedback in terms of animations or killed enemies.
And that Gliderrace part...that part is so unfun, you basically crashdummy yourself through the entire course. Gamedesign-Diarrhea.....
Considering the simplistic animations, The game cannot be rated a 10/10 oder 9/10 for visuals. I think its a 8/10 because of that. Gameplay overall is more like a 5/10. No catastrophy, but nothing special at all - very simplistic, not much difficulty or variety and unlimited ammo combined with only one weapon at the same time should tell you all what you need to know.

@@lomax0018 Not sure what part you are talking about but through the tunnel "pump" the brake constantly (left trigger), once your outside it balls to the wall (no brakes). Good luck, this section almost ended me.
You are supposed to jump on the back of the big bugs in the acid

Weird. Lucia sounds American here..but on my Quest 2 she sounds Australian...(I haven't read through the coments) This game has such beautiful visuals for a Quest game!! If it weren't for those friggin squid things, I'd just swim around in there for hours 😅...
I wish someone would make a Quest game with an option where you could just swim around and explore a beautiful island... like a relaxing sim vacation, but where you dont have to constantly watch your back 😂 just little decisions like which drink you want your poolboy bring you😁
I have the PS VR2 version of Hubris (the PHYSICAL DISC copy, and it's the North American ESRB version which released during June 2024 in the U.S) and she also sounds VERY different than what she does in this video. In the PS VR2 version (which I'm playing now during August 2024) she has a very nice, calm Australian type accent (almost sounds British, and I seriously thought it was British for a while, but upon hearing it more, it's actually Australian). I guess they changed the voice actress from the version that's in the video (the video was uploaded during December 2022, so that means it's an early version of the PC version. Apparently this game was released as an early access game on PC before being fully completed and eventually released on Quest and PS VR2). Honestly, I like her nice and calm Australian accent so much better.

Unfortunately I missed one gun upgrade 😭the shot gun and got stuck for ages until I watched this video, hoping to go back to the save slot before and get the gun

It's double that length, videos are usually edited, deaths are not included, etc. It took me around 7 hours to finish it and I loved it.
Ps, you jump on the bugs and they carry you across the green harmful stuff, not run through it and take damage lol
I opened the hatch … hung on the pipes …. Then saw heaps of bugs and went NOPE!

Very interesting. In the 53:40 mark, which I am now, instead of opening up to where there is a whole bunch of bad guys it opens me up to another little hallway with a ladder that goes up. I hear the same thing about being careful, etc. I go up the ladder and there is a hatch that I cannot get through. I can't go back either because the door I went through is locked. Any clue to why?

How is your turning so smooth? Whenever I turn, it does so abruptly.
That's in every vr game, snap turn vs smooth turn in settings. Snap is better against nausea.
Unfortunately the game has little more to offer besides the graphics. For those who are wondering the gunplay is very limited, the enemy AI is terrible. Such a waste of potential 😔

@@GAMERTAGVRI play this after I finished saint and sinners the first, synapse immediately after and now it seems boring to me in terms of gameplay and also in terms of graphics. it's kind of lifeless.. it doesn't thank you very much for killing the enemies, which is strange. rather finish it to play propagation hotel
That’s a shame, I just played it through on veteran difficulty and would disagree on the AI, personally. The chapter 2 human encounters were challenging. I don’t know how you played, you’ll prob tell me veteran now lol, but that’s what I found.
Also I enjoy the swimming and other traversal was cool like the ropes and climbing. Maybe as im new to vr and only played 25 games so far. All I didn’t like was needing to finish my clip to be able to manually reload. And it wasn’t obvious to me what to do in chapter 3 at a particular part.
@@vincevirtua I think it was default, so normal. The problem was not if it was challenging but that fit example enemies were stuck behind a corner. At least a couple d times I haven't noticed that I don't kill everyone because some dude was walking to or looking at a wall...
I also didn't like the gunplay, the lack of manual reload, the "arena shooter like" encounters so if I had to reply it too much because I would die, I think I would have just skipped it. I barely managed to force myself to finish it 🙂

Jogo excelente, um daqueles que nos deixa com gostinho de quero mais. Esse sim, poderia facilmente ter o dobro do tamanho. Apesar disso, o gameplay é consistente, a historia tem potencial mas nao é suuuper explorada e o destaque fica na jogabilidade versátil, com bom uso dos feedbacks para armas e mira perfeita

2.24: this part with the 3 purple force fields, I can't get past it, I got 2 super soldiers with some lightning charge gun shooting me at station 2.in fact I did station 3 before this and yet the save is from where she says you found it's weak spot 🙄😕 I just wana complete the dang game
Oh, when I reload into the game all the enemies are dead so I got past that part without having to beat those soldier things
For some reason,,i cannot play where i left off.. i thought it saved gameplay for whenever you wanted to take a break,, but only saves when im playing and have to start over every time! much much annoying!

3:12:44 WTF! I cannot catch the pipes, I tried it 50 times! Then I caught them, but could not catch the edge of that fckn platform. Tried to catch the pipes again 20 times, then could not catch the edge. I was never so lame before. What's up with this section? Is it buggy?

I just rage quit because I died when I jumped on a box. I'm over it, not playing anymore. This game is boring and frustrating. Shame because I like the graphics and the art style.
