I've been using SmallRig products for quite some time now, and I'm extremely satisfied with them. They have excellent camera cages. Are you able to balance the camera like you can on professional tripods? (As in belong able to tilt down / up and have it say in position if properly balanced instead of springing back up/down?)

Can I ask, is Smallrig head smoother for panning tele-lens than MANFROTTO 502AH??
I do love this tripod a lot especially for the price, but I have some problems after a few months of working with it.
- The screws are often loose and need to be tighten correctly, too much and the clamps won't close easy enough. If I didn't do that and it would get more loose, the tripod could easily collapse despite the solid looking gears
- the height is pretty.. high. 99cm is mostly too high for a sitting person. It can get up to 2 meters which is more then enough though.
- For me the quick release system got loose. normally you click the plate in and it can't get out anymore, this mechanism loosened somehow and it only needs a little force to knock off. Now I have to get the screw in too to be absolutely sure
Do you have another tripod for low angle shots or do you use an apple box or something for that? Thats the biggest downside for me because I love low angle shots. I'm still very happy with it though :)
Hey bro. Ive got this tripod. I use it with a manfrotto fluidhead. But shooting on my fx3 and 200 to 600 mm sony it introduced some microjitter while panning, any solutions on that?

Be careful. You are 100% going to break the lens mount. That's extreme with a v mount battery plus the internal battery on there. You're gonna give folks a heart attack. If the camera body gets bumped the wrong way its done for. Gave me chills of fear seeing that.
people are buzzing about the YC Onion Pineto Peak as another budget option, I wonder how the two compare; coming in at a similar price.
I'm also wondering, it does look the Peak is a bit more expensive but I think the Peak is probably a popular choice for people who don't want spreaders!
