@@LetsGoBananas-ui7vj Linux Mint is still a solid choice right now considering the upgrades they recently made to their 2x lineup. I haven't tried out their latest v23 yet but a few months back I was on 22 and I'd say it's still very good. But right now I'm on Fedora 39 which I only get because I'm getting tired of the .deb package system and wanted to try something new.
@@LetsGoBananas-ui7vj the only issues I’ve ever had with any other Linux distribution is simply the Nvidia drivers. If you have an AMD most everything should work fine!
Hiya guys . I'm looking to buy a new laptop and really unsure which to buy I want one with good battery life and one that's good for all of these things Hacking Pentesting Cyber security I'm really unsure which one to buy. Out of Hp elitebook co polit Asus zenbook 14 pro Asus viviobook s 15 co pilot Asus zephyrus 14 or 16 Lenovo thinkpad carbon x1 Lenovo yoga slim 7x Also .is intel better than the snapdragon chips n other chips .and for what I need ????? Thanks so much guys
I love the thinkpad low budget laptop with a crazy amount of sticker on the back of real events you attended look, the lower budget ducktapped improvised the look the better.
I switched from an m1 macbook back to a windows laptop because of arm64 being unsupported at the time. Specifically, I was trying to get windows servers setup to practice AD, but I couldn't run x64 on arm64 efficiently.
You should consider renaming this video lol, you barely talked Cybersecurity at all. All I heard was MacBook's fan noise throughout the video, didn't find it informative at all. Come on dude, fans get loud on M3 MacBooks as well, if you buy high end Windows laptops, they're quite too. Obviously not as quite as M1 Air or M2 Air, but the fans don't spin up easily if you're using them on quiet mode.
Please help. I’m about to start my journey in google compTIA course. Im looking at MB Air M1 with 8GB, 2019 MB Pro 16” 16GB or maybe Lenovo Thinkpad with 16GB? All about $800. Thanks.
if you ever want to get into any sort of editing, get an arm based mac. the intel based ones are just as bad. otherwise get the lenovo cause you can upgrade the internals at some point
why would you run Kali on bare metal on your main machine? It is not made to be a daily driven OS. Kali is a distro made for pen testing I would not recommend this. I would only use kali in VM's or USB.
I use both a windows desktop and Macbook M1 14 inch. When it comes to virtualization windows blows mac out of the water. I use a lot of Kali and for the most part it runs well in the Macbook M1. Though there are several tools that still don't work right like docker, postman, burpsuite extensions, etc. I waste a lot of time on my Macbook trying to figure out a way around or troubleshooting those tools. I use Parallels and when there is an Mac OS update, Parallels breaks. I have to wait for a Parallel update so it can start working again. I love my Macbook, but it sucks compared to Windows VMWare Workstation where everything works well.
I came to this video because I started a cybersecurity bootcamp a week ago and was starting to get concerned that I needed to buy a PC as I only have an iMAC and a MacBook Pro. I was able to download virtual box on my iMAC so hopefully I can get windows on the VM and won't have to worry about buying another computer for now. Enjoyed this video and laughed every time at the fan noise! 😂
Actually i am quiet confused by watching a bunch of videos here some are saying in mac there is a chance of getting stuck into some tools can you please guide me should i go for windows or mac for mac i want to go with m1 or m3 but in 16/512 specs please reply as soon as possible thank you
If you want to do heavy AD pentesting and focus on Windows focused exploitation then get a Windows machine. Otherwise get a Mac machine. I have a windows and an M1. Works for both my needs of windows exploitation and *NIX Vuln research+ I get the lovely macbook experience
hey tadi, i have a mac with 8 gigs ram and i am running linux on vm but due to less gigs my productivity in mac has decreased and now i can’t upgrade my mac. what do i do ? edit :- i am having apple silicon m1 and i am using utm for virtualisation.
You can buy an ASUS TUF F15 FX506HC, you'd have the same RAM, 2 less processor cores, a better gpu for gaming for half the price lol. Also you can choose to put linux or windows 10 on it.
That's why you delete windows and install linux lmao
I've been out of the linux game for a while is Linux Mint and Ubuntu still good choices to go with or is there a new one that's hot right now?

Do you mainly use linux OS through parallel desktops on macs? Or do you have a pc that boots to linux mint from usb

Try to connect a MacBook to a Ethernet cable without a dongle

you could also run your windows servers in the cloud. that gives you some cloud experience too lol

2 Options 1 Kali linux on a good Hardware or 2 MacBook, don't use a Windows as that is a wast of time!

Vmware Fusion works great and so does Oracle.
