    Thanks for showing this, Linda. You do the best testing.
    Isn't it something that glitter sticks to everything in your house but falls off of things you want it to stick on? lol
    Have a great day! ❤

    Thanks Linda for another great video. I immediately had a thought about the blue showing on the canvas. Try painting the canvas blue for starters! Then the reaction would just blend in. And thanks for showing the mod podge differences. The 1/2 solution could be a nice alternative in a pinch.
    You are the best teacher. Have a great day.

    I’m so glad you did this demonstration Linda. I would never have known about this. I made a heart for my granddaughter and really didn’t want to put resin over it but the glass kept falling off. This will be perfect..was getting ready to simply seal it with some other sealer I have. Good timing. 💖💖💖
    One more thing…would you suggest mod podge or the Makers Magic? They seem pretty similar to me in video.

    • @crazyglasslady
      @crazyglasslady  8 месяцев назад +1

      Well I feel as if this had a chemical like smell where as Mod Podge I do not think does. Makers magic is not as messsy because you can just drizzle like resin and paint with a brush . I feel it is glossier. Mod Podge you have to pour on and let sit for a while and tip and brush off. So Mod Podge is more time consuming.

    • @crazyglasslady
      @crazyglasslady  8 месяцев назад

      I think it depends on the person Mod Podge takes much longer to dry.

    Thanks for the info. It works but let's face it you do not get the same brilliance and clarity. I watched a video a couple of years ago and a women did a painting and added crushed glass and used tri-art liquid glass. I think she only used it to adhere the crushed glass and not all over the painting. Not sure if that would work or if it is as bad for you as using resin. (health wise)

    Hi again. I came back to watch this video again because my daughter is coming for a visit and is brining makers magic with her. She would like me to try it to see if I might like it. I plan to make a sun-catcher on a 6” plastic plate. Do you remember the curing time? I’m just wondering how long it will take to dry. Thanks.

    • @crazyglasslady
      @crazyglasslady  7 месяцев назад

      I feel like on the flat glass and canvas, it dried within an hour, and the makers magic that I drizzled over the chunky glass was dry by the next day

  • @lauriewilson4741

    Coastal Magnolia just put up a video making a frame/glass art heart in remembrance of her Mom and she sealed the crack around the glass with UV resin and hit it with the light right away. That would speed up the project instead of waiting for the glue to dry. 🤔 what do you think Linda

    • @crazyglasslady
      @crazyglasslady  8 месяцев назад

      Yes I have heard of people doing it that way. I honestly am thinking about starting to use only painters tape . I have heard of people doing that and not having problems. The only problen with UV resin is it is costly and you have to wear a respirator.
