Wow this is great information! The Bombay inks & alcohol inks can be used in an airbrush. I have the expensive ones now but I started with a Masters ($35ish set) airbrush that comes with a small compressor that works well (Amazon). I use it for just this sort of work & base painting tumblers. The atomizing isn’t as good as the higher quality ones but it’s great for quickly covering surfaces, similar to spray cans. It’s just like spray painting. A quick clean up of the airbrush & it’s ready for next time. Water for water based & alcohol for alcohol based to clean etc.. stuff a little paper towel in the reservoir & twist, spray with water/alcohol till it’s clear, repeat paper towel. Every few months I take it apart to clean the insides but it’s not a biggie. It looked a bit complicated until I sat down with a RUclips video 😂 a few times later it’s simple. Anyways it’s always a pleasure to see you 🌹🌹🌹 love when you upload your videos!! Have a lovely day ❤

Thank you, so what you’re saying is I could actually take the Bombay inks and airbrush them onto glass and does it give a nice even pretty coat like you saw my purple flower does it look as nice as that I have a giant air compressor actually, my husband does

Don't break the red vase!!! Art glass is very collectable and expensive. I collect art glass. I create stained glass and mosaics. Hand blown glass can be worth $$$$$. Love your videos! ❤

      Lol
I was thinking it might be expensive. Do you know I think I paid two dollars for that? I have another huge yellow vase. I think it’s handblown that I bought for a dollar at a garage sale and it’s real pretty. I was gonna break it up because it’s really hard to find yellow glass, but I’m afraid too because I think it may be valuable.

I'm moving from a condo to a 3 bedroom house because I need a art studio. Now I'm using a Lanai outdoors in Kona. 🙂

Yeah if you already have scrap stained glass, why not use it? I love the convenience of the Ashland decorative filler, and how it is reflective because the spray paint and the color do not cover it up the reflective qualities.

Hi Linda. I just rewatched this and glad I did. I have the Dr. Ph Martin’s inks. I wanted to find another way to color the larger pieces as I can’t get the spray paint right now…thank you for experimenting with the ink and painting it on. Too bad it was so streaky. I’ll continue my search. Again…thank you for all of these experiments!

Thank you for being so thorough with your experiment. It’s very helpful!! You get such great results with the Tamia spray paint. Love the India Ink too! Stunning colors! There is a difference with brands of alcohol inks in fading as noted by resin artists. Let’s Resin alcohol inks appears to fade less compared to a few other brands when tested. You can search to find additional results

It’s the shellac in these inks that make them waterproof.
So…what if you mixed just a little shellac in the Ranger brand, or whatever is bleeding, to see if that works?
Inks aren’t cheap. If you already have them…worth a try 🤷‍♀️
