  • Terri with WaterSong Creek Creations creates beautiful glass Christmas trees with ProGlas 1000 Table Top Epoxy Resin in this tutorial. Perfect to display for the holiday or to give as a gift.
Proglas 1000 is a clear, tough, high gloss UV epoxy coating formulated to produce a deep glass like appearance on a sealed surface. This 1:1 epoxy is used for art projects and on table top applications. Two or more layers are often applied for added depth and protection. Proglas 1000 has an extended “open time” which allows up to 50 minutes in the mixing container at 70º F and up to one hour working time on the surface being coated.

Wonderful project. Does the glass need to be prepped for the resin? Did you mix any resin into the glass before placing on canvas?
Please no music would be my choice for videos, too distracting from your tutorial. Thank you

Thank you for sharing, they are lovely. I have wanted to try and work with resin but worry about the toxic fumes. I read art resin is the way to go. Do you agree?

I am just starting to work with resin and the Art Resin brand is what I'm starting with. I'm very sensitive to smells and Art Resin does have a strong smell for me. The vapors irritate my nose and eyes. I'm purchasing a full faced respirator before I use it again. It says to wear a mask if not in a well ventilated area.
