    Absolutely Gorgeous Linda ❤ What a wonderful mold. I will look for it. Linda as a safety precaution always protect your eyes from the UV light when doing uv resin. Maybe good sunglasses or like welders goggles, which I use. I did get like a welders flash to my eyes years ago and it feels like sharp gravel under eyelids. Very painful and requires a prescription of ointment to use. Apparently some people are getting it from the U.V. lamps as they watch their resin pieces cure. As always thank you so kindly for sharing your wonderful talent and videos with us all. Take great care and keep creating and smiling ❤

      Dale thank you for the tip! I try to look away but that isn't always the case. I think I will stick a pair of sunglasses in the room that I resin in then they will always be there. thank you!

    Very neat project. I love the idea and can see where people would love something this interesting. So, one thing I didn't hear in the video is how much this project would cost a person to make. As a Christmas fair craft, what would you suggest as the retail price?

    • @crazyglasslady
      @crazyglasslady  Год назад

      Thank you! So if you are a seller which i am not, you would have to invest in the letters which are $80-$100.00 Then there is the cost of resin and what ever you put in them. if you would like an idea of what the sell for I would suggest you look on etsy and see what they are selling the resin letters for. I really do not know.

    • @KenJohnsonUSA
      @KenJohnsonUSA Год назад

      @@crazyglasslady thanks! I actually sell feather paintings. I was thinking of something my wife could sell while I was selling my art. From the video title, I'd assumed this video was for sellers. So, I was kinda hoping for the cost breakdown, how many pieces per the supplies ordered, and then a suggested price based on the price per unit and time. In other words, if I had $250 in supplies, I got 100 sellable pieces out of those supplies, and each piece took a half hour to make; I could estimate a $10.50 actual cost per item. When I multiplied that by a factor of 4 (travel, food, table rental, etc.) then that'd mean she'd need a $45-$50 per item. Now I see this isn't the type of information you'd provide because I misunderstood the intent of the video. Again, your work is gorgeous.!

      @crazyglasslady  Год назад +1

      @@KenJohnsonUSA Ken I am so sorry with the first response I thought you were commenting on the resin letters I just did.That was why I said you would have to invest in the letters.When I get my responses they come in a list with all the different videos.Again Sorry. So I only create one of everything I make and do not sell at craft fairs. But I do think this would be an awesome one to sell because it is so unique. So the thing with me is I try to show people the cheapest way to make it with all my thrift store and garage sale finds. So If you were to mass produce these you would have to buy multiple new frames.unless of course you are a thrifter. If your wife is interested or you of course on my facebook page we have multiple people who do sell at craft fairs. If you have been doing it for a while you would probably be the best predictor of price because you know what they would sell for in your area and what the frames would cost. I have a similar project with a heart that is molded that is very unique i think that would be so cute for valentines day If you do craft fairs before that.Again sorry for the misunderstanding!

    • @crazyglasslady
      @crazyglasslady  6 месяцев назад

      I’m not sure what you asking when you take the resin out of the mold the mold will be clean. If there’s any little spots, you can take some painters, tape and dab at it and whatever little specks are in there will come out. Everything will be dry.
