      I feel you. Rio has that effect on visitors 😂. It took me about 3 years of visiting there to finally venture out to another city 😂

    Belo Horizonte could be considered the dividing line between black and brown Brazil and White Brazil

      Thanks for viewing! While leaving the bank I was followed by the police and then surrounded and questioned. After they realized I was a tourist walking to my hotel they left.

    Did you like Fortaleza or Belo Horizonte better?

      Thanks for viewing! Even though I stayed in Belo Horizonte much longer than Fortaleza, I like Fortaleza for the simple fact of beaches.

    Brother how was the dating life in belo horizonte for a black man?

    • @Air_Planemode
      @Air_Planemode  9 дней назад

      I knew someone there who guided me and told me where to stay so it was fine. I think if I had not met someone online before I arrived there dating life would have been different. You have less places to meet someone opposed to a Rio or other beach cities where you could just go to the beach and spark convo's.

      Thanks for viewing. In Brazil crime is high so crime can happen anywhere anytime. It’s a big country with a high unemployment rate. When people can’t find employment they make ways to. It’s a human thing and can happen anywhere. Crime in the U.S. is different than Brazil. And São Paulo is a bigger city than NYC. Criminals know in Brazil most citizens do not have a gun and criminals take advantage of this. Criminals in the US know that it’s a high chance a citizen will have a gun and defend themselves and this is why crime in the USA and Brazil differ. Also in Brazil criminals have a higher chance of successfully getting away escaping jail while in the USA we are a surveillance country meaning criminals are not as successful and we’re the number 1 country with the most prisons waiting to put people in them. Living in a country for 2 years and never getting robbed doesn’t mean it’s safe. I have been traveling to Brazil for 16 years and never got robbed means nothing because I have native Brazilians who have got robbed

      @@Air_Planemode I agree with you about the crime, I try to be cautious at times, I normally stay in pinheiros neighborhood, and usually I got to safer location, anywhere shady I try to avoid, I have been to some afrobeat events in Sao Paulo, and leaving I did exercise caution, I was pointing out that its possible to live in sao Paulo and fo to areas where its less likely you will be robbed, i been to rio and my friend got robbed and i heard countless stories, thats where i felt unsafe, i lived in floripa and while it was safe, it was kinda boring, belo to me was the middle ground, but irs hard for me to give up sao paulo for Belo, just so much more in sao Paulo , thanks bro

      @@odellowe7340 Yes it seems the further you go south of SP crime gets lower but as a whole Brazil has high crime. I'm American and we have high crime but I have never been robbed in the U.S. When I go to Brazil, no matter where I go I know it's a possibility I can get robbed of my phone. It's just some places I'm more familiar with in Brazil that I can maneuver better but the chance of opportunities for a thief is limitless especially since their job is finding ways to take what you have. When a person is not paying attention and nowadays we have many distractions one being the phone is always their opportunity. With boring cities I have found while traveling the people you meet can make a boring city with no beach fun and the more travelers begin to visit a city I begin to like it less or find an area in the city more secluded. Thanks for sharing your experiences.

      @@odellowe7340 to live it would be some city up north. I like extreme heat and humidity doesn't bother me. I dislike snow, cool weather and the cold after living in the east coast of the U.S. my whole life. Each time I visit Brazil it changes so for now it's Maceio and Aracaju or maybe Fortaleza. These are all extremely hot places.
