I'm a Nigerian born in America
Of course it's easy to blend in here,
Years back my dad migrated here independently, he stayed in NYC and just after few months of CDL training,
my dad got his CDL (commercial drivers license) and got his first truck driving job
Fast forward to today we own a house not just one but 2 houses, store's cars and many more
For anyone thinking of migrating to America, i must say that's a good choice that can never be regretted not just for you but your childrens
There're many opportunities here it's just left for you work hard and build your dreams
    God bless America 🇺🇲🌎🦅✔️

Thank you for sharing, Ma'am Ezinne. One subtle difference I’ve noticed is that Americans tend to be kinder. While I can’t go into all the details, my experiences living in the UK have shown me that the level of hostility present in Nigeria, whether in the workplace or among neighbors, can be even more pronounced in the UK. In contrast, the US system encourages politeness, even if it sometimes feels a bit forced from few persons. From small gestures like holding the door for someone, smiling at strangers, to showing respect to subordinates as a boss, the culture in the US is designed to be more considerate. Having lived in both places, my conclusion is that there is really no comparison between the UK and the US. The UK is quite similar to living in Nigeria, just with more reliable power.

Hi lovely ladies. Thank you for the video and the information. As much as I'm not going to condemn the racism and the discrimination subject in the speech, it is because lately, those two things are happening in each and every country on this planet, it is like it is a World's Norm. Therefore, no one or nothing can be done about it 😉 😀. I am not going to admit that US is better than UK. It just depends on what they want to achieve in life and what kind of the country one feel, will make their life worthwhile. What really makes the UK, undesirable anymore, it is because of BREXIT. Before the issue of BREXIT existed, the UK was the most desirable place, as people used to do the right things and respected the laws of the country. Unfortunately, when BREXIT was introduced, it killed the spirits of many, many, people who were in love with the UK, which was a shame really, by the way. The legal immigrants in the UK, where trying hard to mach the standards and the behaviours of the British government and its community laws. But unfortunately, BREXIT, destroyed all of that, as some of the British people had started to change their minds and their attitudes towards the Legal immigrants, as the result, the UK never went back to normality, while its ratings was gradually dying a slow but a sure death 😕. As far as US is concerned, it is a country where some one needs a fast kind, and yet a lawless kind of life but really nothing else, because the government in the US, doesn't know how to differentiate the law from the an ordinary people's life, which is the reason why in the US is not considered much, as you can see how much of the people are being killed 😀 like birds 😀 in the USA, because of the fast and an ignorance kind life of other people's lives. As I'm going to agree with the lady when she said the only safest time to bring your children in the USA, it is while they are still very young because one can lose a teenage child within few bloody hours after entering the USA, as they love a very fast kind of life. While they might regret why they brought those teenager to the US. Therefore, that will be the worst experience for every parent. THAT'S FOR SURE.

I’m born to Haitian parents and I was born and raised in the U.S. I’ve been exploring the opportunity to move to UK and find it pretty difficult. After much research, I’m seeing that the salary doesn’t compare to live halfway comfortably there. There are advantages and disadvantages to both places. I was interested in starting a new life overseas, getting away from all of the violence and racism (which I’m learning there’s just as much racism there), and just looking to experience something different than the U.S. This video is very helpful and has made me realize not to push and force anything. What’s meant to be will be. I think the limited opportunities in UK is an eye opener to help make my mind up. Thank you. Wishing you continued success in the US. 💛

USA & Canada are good but no free health care at all like UK. Without car, it is difficult to get job but u.k. you can get job bcos of good transport system.

Despite the so-called "opportunities". I'd still choose the UK over the US ANY time!! I've been to the US several times and have friends and family living there, but I still choose peace of mind and a semblance of security over opportunity! So the US is definitely not for me.

Thank you very much 🎉. There was a RUclipsrs who features Africa as graveyard. Africans spent and invested in West. No developed Western would invest in Africa they return back, they are very patriotic. Africa development is an illusion, Western political powers still influence most Africa countries. All human capitals from Africa are also extracted to power Western economies. Lastly no place like home. The power structures are still with Whites 😢

The main thing that will forever prevent me from living in America is the way guns are used so excessively and the fact most people can get gun licences. I know knife crime is high in the UK but ordinary people in America are walking around with guns in their handbags and pocket ms like it’s normal. That, as well as having to pay for healthcare. If I left the UK, I’d relocate to Ghana or Jamaica as I have family living in both of those countries.

The knife crime and violence is mostly around London, Birmingham etc.
In England and Wales, 244 people were killed by knives or other sharp instruments in the year ending March 2023.
Now compare that to United States of America..In 2023, nearly 43,000 people died from gun violence in the United States, which averages out to about 117 deaths per DAY !

    i 💚🤍💚 Nigerian parents
please someone contact our schools and discuss how your parents drill into your youth on the major degrees that pay high wages! Our youth need to see this.
We barely see how each generation is losing out! Many AA attend colleges but they go for lower wage careers! 🙄
ty both i agree USA has many opportunities but some will have to move to obtain better opportunities.

There’s nothing like “which is better” a country being better than the other is subjective and depends on the individual and a host of other circumstances like career path, city within both countries etc. reminds me of our childhood debates of who was stronger between commando and Rambo … there’s entirely no yardstick or metric for such utopian evaluations.
