@Rockzilla404 25 lbs in a year is healthy weight loss, you have to lose it slow and steady or you risk some health issues, losing weight the fast track usually requires surgery. But 25 to 50 lbs a year is usually healthy. I only know because I'm a nurse practitioner and have to give coaching on this regularly
There’s probably too much bad cholesterol in his blood which can inflame the arteries leading to blood clots, stroke and heart disease. Definitely cut down his calories. But if he drinking sugary drinks he needs to stop. Also, fried food is ok as long as it’s not fried with the following oils; canola, corn oil, vegetable oil, soy bean oil. Use instead coconut oil, palm oil, olive oil, high oliec oil or fry in animal fats they also good. Those other oils cause inflammation in the arteries leading to clogged arteries.
