Nice WJ. My son and I built long arms with triangulated 4-link rear and swapped in JK Dana 44 axles into his 2004 WJ. Johnny Joints and Tom Woods driveshafts as well as replaced the 242 transfer case with a 231 as no need to full-time or full-time 4WD option. We also did the fuel tank tuck as well as fabricated front/rear bumpers and tire carrier. Greatly improved the approach and departure angles. We build sliders as well as a tubular storage rack inside the rear cargo area to hold his Powertank and Hi-Lift jack. One thing I suggest is clocking the knuckles to keep a near zero driveshaft to pinion angle on the front and be able to get 6+ degrees of caster. One of the best things we did for handling on his WJ. The reclocking of the knuckles and cutting the coil spring buckets on the axle and changing the angle to keep the coils from arcing was paramount in a proper vibration free WJ with 6+ inches of lift. Enjoy you trip out west here. You'll love it. Mike
I just bought my first WJ. 3 weeks ago. I owned a 76 Jeep Cherokee Chief when I was 17years old. I was inspired to fix her up by watching this channel and some others. I feel more confident in transforming her into an awesome 4x4 that I can take my kids to some neat places in Arizona! I love your channel. I am learning a great deal. Thank you!
I love your jeep wj, it is an inspiration for me, I hope that one day my wj looks as good as yours, good channel I hope to see in the future more offroad routes with more 4x4 vehicles
I love the WJ content! A truck WJ build would be AWESOME I dont think theres anyone that has done a well documented build on one. Keep up the great work 👍
Lol how many have you built ? =0 Turn them over and you will cut you articulation limit in half or worse. Nice thought tho stick to the grocery store runs tho bud
Dope! Glad I found this channel, just picked up my first WJ, coming from the ZJ world. I've already got the 315/70/17 Toyo AT. Ordering a lift soon. Keep making content, I'll keep watching it. Have fun on your trip, should be a good time!
Absolutely loving the WJ! Definitely like to see an XJ build! But I am definitely bias since my Goat an XJ! Subscribed and will check out your other vids. If you come to Seattle area let’s go wheeling! I know it’s an XJ but check out how we trimmed our fenders and used 3M molding to make it look pretty much factory.
Very nice rock sliders! Looking forward to building mine new project... just got a 2004 WJ V8 4WD. Wish me luck... your custom looks very sweet! Love to see Quadra drive work
You do really nice work. That is a beautiful WJ, my favorite all around Grand Cherokee. 5.9 ZJ, in Deep Slate; 99.3% rust free. Best looking Grand Cherokee ever made.
I'm enjoying following your build, am beginning an 04 limited 4.7 that I picked up at a salvage auction that I plan on taking adventures with around the country. Keep up the hard work.
Love the build so far. My son just got a limited wj and has all sorts of ideas he wants to do. Fun watching with him. Love to see an axle regearing video.
I’d like to see more about WJ - how it actually is to be a owner of this kind of car, some daily videos with jeep, off road ect. 😊 Greetings from Poland 😊
Heyy! I noticed your comment and couldn't help but to ask you to check out jeep feen'z on RUclips and subscribe! I hope you like to content of a daily driver owner of the wj! Thanks
@@srerick84 It's great. I had a cracked manifold so my first project was to replace them with headers. I did it. Then I went crazy and did a 4" IRO lift front and back deluxe kit, gas tank skid plate, Double cardan drive shaft, brake upgrade, radiator upgrade, blue top steering box, lights, bull bar, Bushwacker fenders, 11/2 spacers and more. If I could post a picture I would.
With regard to the EVAP system, in 2001 the canister/pump and other associated equipment was actually in the engine bay, tucked in behind the brake booster. Which eliminates the canister from behind the tire and eliminates one of the lines running the full length of the vehicle. Ive bought the the entire system at local salvage in my area for less than 40$. Its tedious, but a rock solid solution you only have to do once. Great build my friend!!
Looks great I have a 2000 WJ I purchased recently thats stock so this give me some great ideas to do to it. I think the older grand cherokee would be a great project the body before this one.
Well that WJ is really nice. hope I win because i want to upgrade my wj jeep like yours! I would love to see a video about a front driveshaft conversion for the WJ next.
It looks really good. I just bought some varilock diffs for mine. Haven't got them in yet. I may be the smallest wj in the ozarks. But I think those will help a lot. I have a 2 inch lift. Everyone tells me I need a adjustable track bar. But it seems fine without it. My wj gets great fuel mileage. At 65 on the highway it gets 24 mpg. I'd like to see an old Comanche build
That's is one heck of beautiful Wj I had a 99 in the taupe frost color. Unfortunately it met it's unfortunate demise because of the Michigan rust the rear axle snapped off the body and the upper rear a arm on the body side was gone. It would be awesome to see you guys do an xj conversion into a truck so that it ends up as a 4 door truck maybe even rock crawler style.
Looks great, but heads up, anything off camber will feel VERY VERY VERY top heavy and “tippy” I’ve got JKR axles being built by DLS in WV for a wider footprint, but in the meantime I’m running spacers
@@OverlandingOzarks I came across this by accident today. Though I think it's cool, I like the ones that look more like the Honda Ridgeline, but the keep a functional rear hatch. ruclips.net/video/khnO1bHUHvg/видео.html
Welding the door cladding to look like fully flaring body. I would love to see a cross country, living out of my Jeep series from this channel.
That would be cool!

Just bought a wj yesterday, first Jeep I’ve ever owned, definitely a cool rig learning a bit about it so far
Check out jeep feen'z on RUclips and subscribe! Welcome to the jeep family.
Those rear lower long arms are upside down . But beautiful Jeep!! The rear lowers are curved to hug the bottom of the body for ground clearance
Lol how many have you built ? =0
Turn them over and you will cut you articulation limit in half or worse.
Nice thought tho stick to the grocery store runs tho bud
Wj pick up would be awesome maybe full roll cage too ! Love the rig !
That would be cool!

Definitely could use those parts on mine. Just put new springs and shocks front and rear
Nice!!! The tank tuck definitely makes a difference and worth the effort.
I think so too! Definitely on the way for mine!
That'd definitely help get mine on th road, good luck everyone!
You need to do the 01 Dakota radiator fill hose and cap swap on the bleeder side of your 4.7 Jeep makes bleeding air from the cooling system a breeze!

Would like to see your continued bumper Fab and some more easy mods for the wj

I’d loved to see a wj pickup - have a wj myself turning it into a nice overland vehicle 🤙
A WJ pick-up would be pretty sweet!🤟
Sweet build. Would like to see a soft top conversion/build of an XJ.
That would be cool!
Everything WJ !! I love my 04 Overland ..after seeing yours though ....lost love for mine ...wow yours is Sick
Definitely need some more WJ content!
On the way! Thanks for watching!
Nice WJ build! I vote for WJ truck conversion for your next project.
Friggin siiick, its sooo clean .Close to what mine will look like by end of year i hope. Alot more backspacing though , ima need 2 lanes👌

I think turning a wj into a pickup would be cool 😎
A 4.0 build would be cool for the next WJ project
That's a possibility!
i would love to see different types of tire carriers that are available for the wj. im running the hkoffroad carrier and i love it.
HKOffroad has great products!
Do something with the WJ for sure!
This gives me inspiration. Thank you
Thanks for watching!
Love the WJ... Keep up the good work!
Thanks! Will do!
Yes, definitely do an XJ build.
I have 2 wjs and have been pondering a truck build. Both v8's, 1 is an H.O. the other has 242WJ swap with vari lock axles.
I would love to see it!

Trying to keep my wj, but newer grand cherokees or Silverado has my eye. 202,000 miles 2.5 lift and a clunk in the front somewhere. Haha
Really nice build young man I love it vary nice indeed.
I’m not a fan of the grand cherokees but this ones nice and I would drive it for sure!
Nice cant wait for more content looking likes a beast I just got my WJ 🔥🔥👌
Thank you! Excited for your build!
