A lunchbox locker in the front axle really changed the capability of my WJ offroading. Pretty much not noticeable when in 2wd on the street but when powering the front axle in 4x4, having both tires always pulling could drag the belly of the WJ over just about anything and that was just on 32s, If I build another WJ it will for sure get a front locker, and if I decide to wheel it a little harder may require better shafts but on 32s it was fine. A little lower gearing would be ideal also so you arent flaring the converter as much, if you can find a 4:1 low range kit or rubicon case, or drop the axle gearing to 4:88 or deeper you'd really notice how much smoother the crawling will get.
Exactly, did the same to my front. So underrated. Front lunchbox locker is great. Add top fill diff cover to allow higher oil capacity and dampens any sound to virtually zero also.
Have a little more buildup to do on the WJ before it’s trail ready, but would love to get hooked up with you guys on an Arkansas trip in the future! Great video man.
I noticed your garage door opener hanging off your visor if that is for a new style garage door that's your home link from the factory does not talk to you can get a home link Wi-Fi converter that will take the signal from your Jeep and convert it into the one for your garage door opener I have 1 in my garage
Another fine video Derek. The WJ looks great with the 37’s. The Vari-loks are probably not diggin’ ‘‘em though. 😮. I’d love to see a walk around of all the mods you’ve done on her!

So, based on this video, for this kinda more aggressive off roading I guess a jeep cherokee or grand cherokee is hands down a better option then a tacoma or 4runner. Little bummed, really kinda wanted a 4runner, maybe tacoma. Lol
I have an 04 Grand Cherokee, 4 inch lift with 33s and the factory 4.7 V8. I’m just curious, what gas mileage do you get with that thing? I get around 9.5 in town, 13 on the highway.
Блик как вам повезло что у вас все есть для джипа у меня самого wj но чтоб мне его довести до такого вида как у вас надо 100 жизней работать в россии и не кушать только откладывать.

I am using a torq locker in the front
Just did the 2nd half of your video run Friday. Very Dry. Wet changes it big time. Thanks for sharing!
The WJ is awesome! I’ve got a GMC Denali with SAS on 37’s. Great video!
I still cant believe you made it out to camp at 2am after the wedding in the rain! True adventure! Great video as always
For a guy in the market for a ZJ / WJ what are some good forums or communities to join to learn more?

Do you have coordinates for that camp site? Great videos and content!
