Getting Raging Bolt will be a huge pain for me. One per save, Trick Room Special Attacker, and SCARLET EXCLUSIVE!? Still ticked about that, and it will make completing the Blueberry Academy Pokedex difficult.
Part of me worries that these new paradox forms won't be legal in reg F. I've heard that Walking Wake and Iron Leaves aren't available in the DLC, and it seems weird they'd legalize mons that aren't available by any means. And if 1/3 of the trio is illegal, they might just blacklist the whole trio
Question, what if you used a Pokémon that could use electric terrain+sunny day? Like prankster thundurus as well as trick room use? This way with thunderclap priory and boost from terrain and protosynthis it can do a lot of damage.
Not sure if anyone posted this but in the base stats on the dmg calc, put a 0 if it’s a 2 digit number (089 as opposed to 89), otherwise it’ll automatically put the 1 in front
hey neil, i dont know why the calc made weird jumps, i recommend using the pokesports damage calc instead for scarlet violet also you forgot to add assault vest in the defensive calc vs flutter mane moonblast! :)
Until the official rules for Reg E are released we're assuming that the paradox mons introduced in the dlc will be legal because everyone who owns the dlc is able to catch them, unlike Wake and Leaves who were given out through events
Oh I forgot you better beat the other game and the teal mask and get 150 mons registered in the teal mask Pokedex to get Perrin in the indigo disk and then register 200 pokemon in the indigo disk dex. I did this shit twice and it wasn't fun
the jump was because protosythesis was swapping between spa and spdef, putting the +1 spdef as a boost instead of av made it so the +1 boost was considered for proto

I've recalculated the tera fairy Moonblast from specs Flutter Mane and it says that you need to invest 228 HP and 244 Sp.D with an assault vest to survive it, I don't know why yours bugged though
I haven't watched the vid yet but raging bolt isn't gonna dominate. I do really like this mon but it doesn't easily slide into teams like Gouging Fire does
Are you forgetting the assault vest? If assault vest hands can survive with enough bulk then raging bolt surely can since it’s spdef is much higher than hands
dont think this will legal in VGC because its hard to get this pokemon, its a one per save file, its not like the other paradox pokemon where you could get multiple and trade.

I think raging storm is overhyped only because he can 'defeat' water urshifu (untill people starts to use tera ground and ice spinner or the dark one). He lacks a deep coverage because outside of electric and dragon he has nothing and all his bulk is in hp but he doesn't have recover. I can be wrong but i tested him and i just prefer archaludon

it’s IVs are fixed anyway i think to 20 in speed, so no point resetting for it

Pls use the nerd of now vgc damage calc it’s a lot easier to use for vgc and is properly updated with the new mons

Try it. I've done it before. Not with Raging Bolt. But I've used Prankster pokemon for years setting terrain on random teams.

I made a raging bolt team with a calm mind set and I hit top 50 on showdown. It's an insane mon, and I'm happy since I like his desing a lot

Nah, that weird jump was protosynthesis (126*1.5= 189, higher than the 188 that he had on SpA)

Raging bolt can only have as less as 20iv in attack due to encountering it, it will “always” have 20iv across the board.
In my opinion if we will continue to use raging bolt without weezing we will see farifarig rising also gouging this has good sinergy with weezing
Weezing will most likely be gimmicky now since the ignorance of neutralizing gas by protosynthesis and quark drive was a bug and is now fixed.
