Let's Talk About Us
March 3th, 1979. I saw Rockpile live at Paradiso Amsterdam ( as Dave Edmunds and band ) in 1980 as Rockpile and as Dave Edmunds' band ( Without Williams and Lowe ) in april 1982. And I know I missed several concerts in that time in between. Still a fan but after Information it isn t anymore what it was. Still a sidestep I never understood with Jef Lynn but he needed it to get a feet between the door in America. Btw, ELO is another fav band for me, all LP's till...... Time ( 1981 )
Holy cow. Terry Williams is a beast on the drums. Listen to what he's doing with his feet. Those snare fills!
Rockpile are a powerhouse!!
Saw them open for blondie in sunrise Florida, great !
I also saw Rockpile open for Blondie in Central Park. Was it 79? Not sure. What I DO remember is that they were amazing, and Blondie, as good as they were, were not as high energy as Rockpile that day.
@masonresnick5105 yes Mason 79
living in Washington DC, this is a WHFS band.. so great to hear this, thanks
This is the best live recording I've heard from them.Dave's singing is really good.

No fuss, no frills just awesome rock n roll.
Kudos to Nick for bigging up JCC!
Yeah !! Full of rock'n'roll and good vibes :-)
Discovered these guys when their 1st record came out in the US. '78 or '79? Hooked immediately & led me to playing rockabilly a few years later. Like CR, Ramones, JT & Heartbreakers, just about every song rocks.
Unadorned and unapologetic rock and roll comin' your way
Thank you.
Thank you!

Brings back memories of my high school years. Remember seeing these guys at My Father's Place, a rock club on Long Island back around '79/'80. This era was the high water mark for music, so many great bands around at the same time. Sorry, but wouldn't give you 2 cents for today's music.
This is amazing!
Saw them open for Van Morrison at Armadillo World Headquarters in Austin.FANTASTIC!!!!
English phenomenon.
Where can I get this?
❤😂
I saw the Chicago date on this tour. They were good, not great.
Rockpile are a powerhouse !!!
