The movie carried a lot more weight than the earlier ones, especially compared to the second one. It is a beautiful piece of artwork. Enjoy the ride!
I like how he put that. I agree .... a hero is identified by those that are saved by the hero, not something that one can choose to be. Therefore its not an actual character to play -- its an outcome of a character having been played.
That part in Raiders when Indy shoots the swordsman... My parents took us to see Raiders with our cousins, we were all little kids at the time, and when my little cousin saw the Swordsman, he yells out just as it cut to Indy's face, "AW, NUTS!!" I loved Indy 5. I suppose it's getting a bad rap because people rejected it being about age and wanted more of the same matinée feeling the old movies were all about. But if you accept this is the kind of movie they wanted to make, it totally works as an elegiac meditation without making you feel absolutely miserable.
@@jd0604 She was, but I take it she was meant to be. Rewatched Raiders the night before watching Dial, and Indy is a real d-bag at least for the first half of the movie. The Helena character is a pretty one-to-one copy of the young Indy, which kinda makes sense.
The ending was a bit wacky but other than that I agree with you. It was a good movie generally
@@sebastiansanhueza9601 It was woke trash.
@@matthewdyer2926 Indy has always been woke as fuck.
I love INDIANA JONES.
From the 80s and 90s, for sure.
He’s so handsome even at this age!
Remarkable interview, very interesting to listen to. Thanks
Thank you so much for all the movies that made us feel as if we were there with you wheather it was as a CIA man or Indiana jones.
As a legendary actor who has brought the iconic character to life, his perspective on how he envisioned the conclusion of the series holds great significance. Ford's involvement and passion for the character over the years have undoubtedly shaped the beloved franchise.
I don't think that I ever thought about this before, but after seeing this interview, it seems to me that he understood what he was doing. He understood the role of the actor in the movie. Then again, maybe this is something he has understood recently. It doesn't matter. It is good to see that he does understand it.
A brilliant interview with Harrison Ford.😊
One of the best actors out there very humble, a true gentleman & a great actor. We love Han Solo and Jack Ryan, Indiana Jones, rusty sabich and so many others ! Keep up the great work !!!!!
I just finished watching the New Indiana Jones in Theaters 2023🎥 Indiana Jones was Artificial intelligence Face. He did a Great Job Acting Actions Scene anyways for his Age. Congrats🎉
Wisdom and sage advice from Mr. Ford after a lifetime of living.
A role model of his caliber is rare.
Harrison Ford should be awarded a Oscar for his services to the movie industry
He was nominated for Witness and since 1985 he was forgettable
I loved the movie and marveled at all the references to all the previous movies. Thank you!
Watched it a day ago with my family of 6 in the cinema and we all loved it. A beautiful ending to one of our favourite screen caracters and you and everyone else involved did a fantastic job. Salute!!
Was your favorite part when he wanted to stay back in time and die like a beaten loser or when the British chick punched him out?
Genius story telling. Amazing character development
I love Ford he remember him when he was younger in the 1980s this will be the last film.
I think his genius is how well he portrays his characters as at once the everyman and the archetypal hero, better than pretty much anyone ever has.
Mr. Ford brings humanity to his craft
I’d still like to know what taking the job on “Crystal Skulls” just for the money or did he have a temp lapse in judgement. South Park nailed “Indy” r*pe. 👎
Thank you Harrison for Indiana Jones this character and series mean so much to me a big part of my childhood you've inspired me all my life it's been an honor
1923. Brilliance. ❤
I watched this after watching Harrison's appearance on Conan's podcast, and it's amazing to see the difference in Ford's persona/attitude with different interviewers... I guess that's a bit of a "duh" statement, but I was just so incredibly impressed by the chemistry between Harrison Ford and Conan O'Brien.
It ended with Last Crusade; period.
Ford is a legend of iconic roles
Its a real shame he never got an Oscar.
He was nominated for Witness.
He should have been nominated 4.
Doesn't need one.
,A very open, very interesting interview. He's so talented, highly intelligente and down to earth. One of my favorite actors,
A true Legend, thank you for being Yourself ! I personally enjoy all your Great movies though my superfavorite remains "Witness"
As much as I want to see it, I won't. I learned my lesson with crystal skull, and in fact any trilogy that spills into a 4 + movies and breaks the arc. Franchises need arcs just like the movie itself. It's like day 1 film school. Harrison Ford is amazing, but I want to preserve the legacy in my mind, and not have that ruined by my falling into the hands of the studios who push this on us for $$$ with no regard for the art.
Great actor. His best film still remains American Graffiti (1973)
i don't want him to get old!
looking forward to watching the film soon 🙂
It's good to see him again he looks good he looks healthy.
Great interview with Harrison Ford! Thank you Chris!
Bring it on, South Park!
Harrison Ford the legend, one of my all time favorite actors, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny was an amazing adventure, Thank you for making my childhood special with your amazing movies 🤠👏👏👏
