Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones was one of my first “crushes” when I was a child. I remember that my grandmother had taped these movies on VHS and I watched them nonstop on repeat back then. He was the perfect man you wanted when you got older and i’m so so happy that they have let this franchise stay with Harrison Ford throughout the years instead of doing remakes with other younger actors. There will never be another Indiana Jones in my opinion and I hope there will go a long time before they try to reinvent the franchise.

There's really nothing better in this world than to sit down and go through either the Star Wars or Indiana Jones films. Those two franchises are so jam packed with Americana and are as far as media is concerned, foundational to American cinema. Actors like Harrison and Hamill have gone on to become more than celebrities. They're a step above super stars like Travolta, Cruise, Jackson, due to their long standing affiliation with such huge cultural revolutions. Also, if you've never seen Forgetting Henry, I would say that's my favorite Harrison Ford film, check it out.

His age is never really brought up in the fourth movie, outside of Shia's character calling him Grandpa a few times as a joke. It seems like there's gonna be more of a focus on it in the fifth movie than there was in the fourth.

    • @johnb1150

@@davidkirkham1656 um even with those references alone that qualifies as bringing it up, and there wasn't just that when he's swinging on his whip in the storage hanger and misjudges the land he refers to thinking it was closer too, point is his age as being older is referenced so yeh it's brought up. We've done that one. This isn't covering any new ground cos people already thought he was too old for the last film let alone this one over a decade later.

We named our youngest son Harrison. He became an Eagle Scout! I know Harrison Ford is a great supporter of Boy Scouts. So many fun times watching Harrison Ford a part of our family of 6 growing up, experiencing everything from Star Wars to Indiana Jones. I believe Harrison Ford to be a person of great honor and integrity and I have so much respect for him. I'm looking forward to seeing his latest Indiana Jones movie and going back to watch movies of his that I haven't yet seen. My husband and I will be "empty nesters" this fall. Raised four smart, motivated, beautiful humans with integrity, morals and love for their fellow human beings. Two have graduated from college and are planning for grad school. One is currently in college. Our youngest will begin college this fall (2023). That would be our Harrison. What a great name! I don't know where you live, Harrison Ford, but if you ever find yourself in San Luis Obispo, a beautiful part of CA, my awesome son, Eagle Scout, biochemistry major, my son who became a vegan an lost 35 pounds during the pandemic, who is now 6'2", 160 lbs, curly haired (he was once a tow headed straight haired toddler with boundless energy). Good thing he was my last child. I might have stopped at one if he had been my first, lol. Funny how life works out. He has turned out to be a wise, learned, steady, thoughtful, measured, and mature young adult. It is quite amazing that he is such a considerate person. Except for when he was really young and singing with his sisters, he is actually very quiet. He has chosen biochemistry as his major at Cal Poly, but he is so much more than that. He is so very musically talented, vocally, plays the trumpet, sang the Star Spangled Banner for the Little League World Series, writes songs, is a "producer" (you can see that I am his mom and older because I put that in quotes, lol). It took me quite a long minute to understand that being a producer is very musical. Harrison took his young years of piano lessons, his years of trumpet lessons, being buglar for his scout troop, his years of voice lessons, his summer of a digital music class, mushed it all together and is now creating his own music. He can read music, and that was my goal. He has a great talent). He produced his first release song and I think it is awesome. This is a very talented and thoughtful kid. I'm so very proud of him. music.ruclips.net/user/search?q=interim+dream+bound He has so much more to share. I hope he finds a place to share his talent where other people will appreciate it. Art is only appreciated by the people around you unless you find another venue of people who appreciate your talent. Harrison definitely has a talent and is gifted. I hope he achieves his academic goals. I also hope he continues his artistic and musical goals. He's super talented and disciplined. I'm looking forward to what he creates. As his mom, I just want him to figure out how to make enough money to achieve his life goals, his academic goals, secure his family's financial future. This requires planning, of course. All of us want a better life and more success for our children. I am a first generation college student. I have purposefully planned for our four kids to learn how to adopt a sustainable life while learning how to live in our exspensive culture. On top of the things that relate to our lives, I just want Harrison Ford to knoiw that

The time for a 4th sequel if done at all which it never should've been was the 1990s, and they missed that boat.
