Harrison Ford is a rare find... Possibly more rare than any of the finds of his fictional character Indiana Jones. He is a real innovator, a gifted and talented passionate, unrecognised director and actor which is why he brings so much atmosphere and explanation to his characters whilst still remaining enagmatic and mysterious, a true star what a legend!

I loved Indy 5. I suppose it's getting a bad rap because people rejected it being about age and wanted more of the same matinée feeling the old movies were all about. But if you accept this is the kind of movie they wanted to make, it totally works as an elegiac meditation without making you feel absolutely miserable.

As much as I want to see it, I won't. I learned my lesson with crystal skull, and in fact any trilogy that spills into a 4 + movies and breaks the arc. Franchises need arcs just like the movie itself. It's like day 1 film school. Harrison Ford is amazing, but I want to preserve the legacy in my mind, and not have that ruined by my falling into the hands of the studios who push this on us for $$$ with no regard for the art.
