thank you so much!! Was an amazing train ride indeed!!
@ Tarik6990.
Hi, would you so kind to let us know any sites about public transports within cities in Bosnia-Herzegovina, please ? Thank you.
@@pfemke553 We don't really have any sites for that, usually locals just go to the bus or train stations and ask for the timetable. We do have a website for the railway company though.
@@tarik6990
Thank you very much for your answer.
@tarik6990 hi bro would you let us know about software developer jobs in Bosnia-Herzegovina its help us so much....kindly reply
I am Bosnian, born in Sarajevo in 1981, have been living in Saint Petersburg, Florida, USA since the end of 1996 and I am so happy here but whenever I am in Bosnia I want to stay there forever.
Hope that the USA has been treating you well! Also hope you can visit Bosnia again soon! Do you think you would ever move back?
@@IfWeGoTo Yeah, I'm already preparing for it, we're going to be self-employed in the city of Visoko in Bosnia.
My Wife and I are both orthopedic surgeons and we see great opportunities for our future there.
Wow that is amazing!! best wishes to you and your wife in your future there! :D
thank you guys ,as alway such pleasure to watch this content .
Awww thanks Sophia!! Happy to see you enjoying them! :D
Now that's an awesome train! I should definitely make a new Balkan tour soon. So many beauties and very friendly prices, to say the least.
It was a gorgeous ride! And you totally should!! I honestly think eastern Europe has the best combo of culture/ease of travel/price. We were pretty devastated to have to leave!
@@IfWeGoTo....pruga "pola u mraku , pola u zraku"...(because of lot of tunnels & bridges)
Loved this chill & lovely vlog! It has me giddy about trains, new places, & new food! 💜
Thank you guys!! Really excited for y’all to get to Europe!! Train travel is seriously the best!!! Haha.
That was a beautiful train ride. And your food looked delicious as well. Look forward to seeing a tour of Mostar!
Ahh thank you!! Glad you enjoyed it!! And we’re excited to post Mostar!! It’s small but gorgeous!!!
Definitivamente un viaje en mi lista no muy lejana, Sarajevo a Mostar. Felicidades Chicos!
¡Muchas gracias, espero que puedas tacharlo de tu lista también!
We took this train two years ago! This video popped up right after I just watched our old video lol.
If you go back, please go to Kibe Mahala. We stayed next to it for a little over a month and ate almost every day.
Oh so awesome you guys got to experience it! It's a great train ride!
Thank you so much for your recommendation! We definitely plan on going back one of these days!! We would love to check it out!
@@IfWeGoTo I checked out your last video as well and saw you guys went to St. Marteen!! This is me and my wife’s favorite! Our profile picture was actually taken not too far away in St John USVI 😃.
Glad to see y’all keeping up with the videos! We are focusing on our company and daughter in the US now and haven’t found the time to be able to make videos. We will again some day.
Best of luck to you and yours. Keep on keeping on!
Ahh thank you!! I was hesitant to post it, but it was a fun little video!! hahaha
That is so awesome! Do you guys have any recommendations here? We're just stopping in right now, but may be heading back to do it more properly!
Hope you guys can get back to videos soon! I know its a bummer when you cant make them. But sometimes other things in life come first.
Thank you guys so much!! Do you have instagram by chance?? I love keeping up with fellow travelers!
What a beautiful adventure, thank you for another awesome vlog and those train seat tips. Looking forward for the rest of your Mostar trip ❤️
Thank you so much!! We’re seriously so happy you enjoyed it. Really hope it helps on your trip. And Mostar was such a fun town, just finished up that video yesterday!! Excited to post it! 😃

It really is!!
Girl - you so beautiful! 🙂God bless! And another great video!
You're the best! Thank you!!
Thank you fo this video. I'm going to Bosnia in September.
Thanks for watching!! Hope you have an amazing time!
30 bucks a night??? Incredible! Loved the train ride and of course the food. I need to catch up on your Sarajevo video.
Part of why we live abroad is because it tends to be SO much cheaper than home (with the exception of western Europe this summer lol 💰🔥 )!!! If you ever want an affordable trip, Eastern Europe is a great combo of culture, cost, and ease!
Thank you for posting another wonderful video! I really enjoyed watching. Mostar is the most beautiful city in Bosnia and Herzegovina and I am happy you were able to visit.
Thank you so much!! We’re really happy you enjoyed it. And it’s absolutely a gem of a city, just finished up editing that video yesterday and so many great memories!! 🥰
Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment! It means a lot to us!!
I enjoy watching and I am looking forward to another video. I have been living in the states for almost 20 years and always enjoy videos from my country. Thank You!!!
Oh awesome!!! What state do you live in??
I live in Chicago. How about you?
Awesome!!! We’re both originally from California, but haven’t permanently lived there in a very long time!
From Bosnia to beautiful Herzegovina❤❤❤
Thank you!!
Traveling by train is a great way to Travel 🍒🍒🍒
The absolute best!!
Hi Brandi & Allan,
I just had a "months worth" of your vlogs to check out. (Happens when traveling yourself 😁)
What a treat, BosHerz is still on our list. I did visit Mostar once as a "bonus" on one of the many Croatia visits. I loved Mostar. Still remember the meal next to the Old Bridge.
Looking forward to see how you both experienced Mostar.
Food is so lovely in that part of Europe.
A big hello to you, save travels and warm greetings from the Netherlands. 👋👋👋
Ahh thank you!! Hope your travels have been going well!!
It's definitely a beautiful place! Mostar was gorgeous, but when you guys get the chance... beyond it is equally as stunning!!
Love this! I want to go to Sarajevo this fall and now your videos have inspired me to take the train to Mostar! Thanks!
Sarajevo in fall would be breathtaking!!!
Definitely visit Mostar too, even if just for a day or two! It is gorgeous!!
Happy travels! :D
Bosnia is really a good country to live everything beautiful and affordable
It is just gorgeous!! We cant wait to visit again sometime!
@@IfWeGoTo You should come back I could not leave this country 😁😁😁
Great video 🤗🫶 And guess what? I am taking this train Sarajevo-Mostar in one week time, excited. Glad you liked it (I am Bosnian from Sarajevo)
It was awesome!! Thank you!! ❤️ Your country is beautiful!
Thanks a lot, appreciate it ❤️
If you need anything, I am availebale for you guys here in Sarajevo. You’re always welcome 😊
Keep it up guys! You have a new subscriber (:
Aww thanks Daniel!! Nice to meet ya! :D
I took this train last year. Absolutely packed with tourists, many had to stand. It was a beautiful ride, but we didn't get to enjoy it.
Oh no!! I’m sorry it wasn’t enjoyable for you!! 😭
When did you guys go?? It was pretty empty when we took it. I wonder if it was the season or if we just got lucky??
@@IfWeGoTo in late September ! I was really surprised about the number of tourists
That is surprising!! I wonder why it was so crowded - we went in the summer so you would expect it to be much busier... although maybe it was a bit too hot and kept people away? It was nearly 40 our entire stay in Mostar
@@IfWeGoTo I have really now idea. For sure all these tourists were not belonging to an organised tour. We spoke with some of them, all nationalities were represented as well.
Klopa!
So good!!! 😋
Cool 👍.
Thank you!!!!
Welcome to Bosnia & Herzegovina , try ayvar you will like it :)
We will have to try that next time! Googled it and it looks tasty!! Lol. Thank you very much!!
Napomeni im da ne uzmu ljut, ljudi ce se udavit
Selam from New York Sarajevo the best city in Europe with amazing people and delicious food go every summer there and ulcin with the best beaches ❤️🇧🇦
I would never of thought that these two cities were shelled so intensively that its people were on the edge of madness
Yeah, learning about their history is crazy.. especially knowing how much they have repaired and healed since. They definitely went through a lot!
If anything, going through war teaches you to appreciate life more. Which is why people are even more full of life and living in the moment.

Loved the video! We're thinking about taking this train from Sarajevo and it was super helpful. One question - was there smoking on the train?
So happy it helped!! No smoking in the train I think, no one was doing it and it didn’t smell like it at all!!
@@IfWeGoTo Thanks!! We're in Sarajevo now and like you, have found it really hard to find anything that is non-smoking! So far, only Klopa 😅
Nice
Thank you!!!
Hi...really enjoyed your video of Mostar. The AirBNB looked great. Can you give us an idea of where it is and how to get in touch with the host? Thanks in advance.

Ahh yes!! We loved the food! We even did an entire video dedicated to trying Bosnian specialties! So delicious! 😋
Thank you so much! Hope to visit your beautiful country again soon!
Hello, I only have 5 days to enjoy Bosnia, I have decided to spend 2 nights in Sarajevo and 2 nights in Mostar, can you tell me where to buy the train tickets? My last day in Mostar I would have to return to Sarajevo to go to the airport and I am worried about the train schedules to get there on time.
Hi!! We ended up buying them directly from the train station!! I think if you are worried about the schedule, it may be worth it to book a taxi just in case!
Thanks for the video. How long was the train ride to Mostar from Sarajevo?
Thanks for watching!! I think it’s about 2&1/2 hours!
Thanks 👍
Anytime! :D
May I know how long was the train ride? Direct or with transfer?
It was direct and about 2hrs30min! Hope that helps!! 😃
Amazing video! My husband and I are visiting Sarajevo and Mostar this summer. Regarding your Air B&B, did you use the Air B&B app or a different company? Asking for Sarajevo and Mostar. Thank you!!
Oh that’s so exciting! You guys will love it!!
Yes, all of our accommodations in Bosnia we booked on airbnb! :)
@@IfWeGoTothank you! One more question please, do most places accept Euro's? If not, what payment method do you recommend?
Of course!!
We didn’t try to pay with Euros, their currency is the Mark. They took our credit card at the newer places and we just pulled Marks from the local ATMs as needed! :)
Just stairs at the railway station? I plan to take my elderly parents to sarajevo, then to mostar. Guess i have to take a private transfer then.
I’m not sure if they also had elevators, I don’t remember seeing any! You may be able to find out more on a google search though.
If not, private transfers are quite affordable there.
I was there a few weeks ago. Only stairs, no elevators.
Hello! Question for you or anyone who can answer this, I'll be going to Dubrovnik from Sarajevo soon. Is there a way to book the tickets in advance on a website or do you have to pay in person?
Hi!! I’m pretty sure you can, I would check with flixbus or omio to see their times and routes. :)
Have a good trip!
@@IfWeGoTo Would you say it's worth it to book in advance or better to just get the tickets in person? I was assuming the train would be booked by the time I got there.
@@Geof717 I think I’d book in advance if you’re on a tight itinerary. Especially in the high season! Dubrovnik is such a big destination.
There is no other such beautiful country in the whole world, as ours (Yuga). But you Anglo-Americans have destroyed it from envy.
Can’t really blame an event that happened before we were born on us… you can be mad at the world govts all you want though
@@IfWeGoTo Of course you can't be blamed for what happened. But your fathers voted, and continue to vote, for warmongers to bring chaos and destruction all over the world. If they could appreciate the beauty of nature as you do, the world would be a better place. I wish you all the best.
Thank you, I wish you all of the best too! I know it is a shame that there is so much instability... I wish things were different also.
How much of luggage is allowed on the train?
We didn’t notice any restrictions! But I imagine a normal amount is fine!
@@IfWeGoTo thank you for the quick reply! 🙏🏻
Anytime!! Hope you have a good trip! 😃
Im going to be in omis croatia anywhere to catch train there to bosnia?
Hi! I am not sure about trains, I don't think Croatia has many options, but I do know that many buses run between Croatia and Bosnia though - that is what we did!
Hope that helps! :)
Thank you. What bus did u take?
I can't quite remember the exact bus, it ran from Mostar to Dubrovnik. Then from Mostar you can catch the train! There are *tons* of tourist buses that do that particular route though because it is a popular day trip from Dubrovnik. I think you can just show up, but it's recommended to book earlier if you can find one online (or even in person) because it's a very popular route.
Private cars also drive tourists across the borders too, we paid I think around $20USD to go from Montenegro to Dubrovnik when we had to backtrack.
Last year, in the summer months the train to Sarajevo left from the port city in Ploče in Croatia. There is no way to know whether that will be the case again this Summer. Consult the websites of the Croatian railways (HŽPP) and railways of Bosnia-Herzegovina (ŽFBH).
lmao hold on a sec was that Jeremy Clarkson at 4:12??!?
Bye The way I live in Bosnian
"The Balkans' best train ride! (SARAJEVO to MOSTAR!)" yet only 54 seconds worth of train journey footage.....
We thought doing 2 solid hours of train ride would be boring… lots of tunnels, changes in lighting, shaking… wasn’t exactly easy to film. 🙈
Plus advice on cost, purchasing tickets, seating…
But if you don’t like it you’re entirely welcome and able to make your own video on it. Lol
(About bullet holes and war traces) “hmmm maybe that’s just the style they go for 😂” . Lol only an American would say such an idiotic thing. He made a similar comment on Sarajevo as well, that the city has a wartime aesthetic…. They are keeping it to remember how UN failed them, how NATO failed them, how every so called peace pact failed them. And they had to go through a massacre. Get your ignorant viewpoint straight.
“They are keeping it to remember…” ⬅️
That’s what you just said.
“I guess it has been so short of a time, they wanted to keep it in everyone’s mind” ⬅️
That’s what he said.
Not so different huh? Seems like you’re just angry and trying to bend what we said to fit your “Americans bad” narrative. We fully acknowledged the horrors of the war, and found it interesting they didn’t just cover it up and leave it to the past.
You’re the only one, out of tens of thousands of viewers who has said anything like this. Dare I say… you’re the one being ignorant here?
Did not visit
Huh??
