Fantastic video thx! Original battery only last 1.5 years. Aftermarket 2 years. Replaced again and had a hard time getting the laptop to power on. In the end, I found that the battery wires can easily be installed upside down (or backwards). Green wire should be on the right if looking from top and battery is closest to you.
After installing the new battery, laptop turned on but wouldn’t show the battery percentage or charge icon (although got a green light from ac adapter) Computer eventually died and wouldn’t restart and wasn’t charging. Make sure the wires are not backwards when installing the battery….
I have a HP Spectre x360 - 15-df0008ca, and seriously wish i could find genuine parts for it. the top keyboard/palmrest casing has warped or bent in the front leaving a gap between it and the bottom casing, this causes issues with trackpad travel, dirt/debris, and temperature control. Wanted to try and get it fixed but nothing is open due to COVID, so was hoping to either replace it myself or at least find out what it would cost me to fix. Pretty sad that a computer that really isn't that old gets forgotten after a year or two..........definitely didn't pay $2,000 for a computer that wouldn't have any long term support, or at the very least replacement parts that may be needed down the line. Heck tried using the parts lookup tool and cant find anything except RAM boards, seriously disappointing.

Hi, As I haven't opened the back panel since purchase, I'm unsure of the cause. It seems the rubber feet (only the rubber) on my laptop have extended 3cm and 2cm respectively beyond their original position, and it doesn't sit properly in the place so i have took it out but the rubber feet parts i.e, the plastic sticks are still attached to the back panel covering the screws sections Because the screws are not visible. Could you please advise on how to address this issue without causing damage? HP SPECTRE X360 15t-df100 CTO Appreciate your assistance.
Hi, I attempted to remove the rubber feet with my fingers as I didn't have tweezers. Instead of seeing the screws, theres a solid black line at the back underneath the sticky part, what do I do? I can't seem to get under it.

Me! and it's out of warranty. HP says they don't have an original one. The battery won't be supplied after 3 years, he said. I even clarified that I want to PAY for a new battery but he said they don't supply it. So he adviced me to buy from a third party.

Not pleased with this demo, got the battery replaced but in doing so the right speaker terminal came off the board and now has to be soldered back on. Already spent the money to replace the battery and now I have to fix this issue that would have been avoided if the soldering had been more solid from the beginning.
