I wish that the wheels were visible from the back of the figure rather than covered by car kibble. That part really nails cartoon accuracy and xtb got that better. FT size shifting and finish makes this the winner for me though
I like this figure. The thing is that it doesn't scale well with other Takara car bots in bot mode. Now if Fanstoys has plans to do every character, it might work. I believe that the Fanstoys scale is what I would imagine the car bots should be when it comes to bot mode. Slightly shorter than a seeker on the cartoons. I want to get it but I went in on Xtransbots and there may be no turning back. This fig is dope! Always an excellent review!

I just got MP Sunstreaker this week and I can't honestly understand why people say it is so tough to transform. I didn't even open the instructions for it. though I do have to add that I watched several reviews before I got it so I'm sure that helped, but you still need the figure in hand to know where everything goes. As far as Spoiler, I'm happy people have choices, personally not interested enough to buy but I still like watching the reviews to see what's going on.

You, Emgo, Paul, & Ben(peaugh) have been my "GO TO'S" for quite some time now, with BensCollectables, Transformers & Video Games, & TMReviews being runners up. But this year i just wait to watch your reviews, theyre THAT good!. ;)As you can probably see this' my NEW CHANNEL/FUTURE CHANNEL's screen name i will be starting in 2020 or when i get my new place. Which now that i have my license back, a new car (67k/no rust/11 months inspection, NO PROBS!), + insurance, i can look for better condos like before and spread out in my state more then the past 9 years to look for the right condo/apartment. I am really looking forward to receiving this figure, but some of that excitement is curbed due to my collecting both the X-transbots and these. Getting a different version of the same figure is not as fun as if we were for instance getting Defensor bots. Still, I know once in hand the excitement will return. As always, thank-you for the review.
Feed that figure a couple of hambolters.. way better looking vehicle mode. Moving his arms out showed some shape but for the most part that's a runway fashion model, stick thin from the side no shape figure.
@@TMan978 I follow your point, but the cartoon was very inconsistent. It just boils down to how you feel about in the end. I try to keep my Decepticons on different shelves from my Autobots because the 'Cons tend to be taller than the 'Bots anyway. Thumbs up for the review by the way, Mr. TMan.
Funny I funded Spoiler by selling off the CW Menasor set which I thought no1 wanted. W/O trying sound like a Fanboy,I always thought Takara's MP Carbots were too short from the get go. Either way like what Boneface always said "Scale is in the eye of the beholder." So IMHO you really can't go wrong with either sets made by XTB/Dx9 as there is a set for any preference. *EdiT* What's your beef with Wish app Spudger's? Lol I got 10 for $2 and it's still works like a champ;) Sharp as hell tho!
Not really a fan of the chest color the size and the tightness. He shouldn’t need a spudger to transform. Also he should be a lot smaller. I’m still getting him. But I think xtransbots is way better still.
I think that flat back is a positive thing. It just shows how good a transformation can be, being so clean.

Looking at how their car modes compare to Optimus Prime truck mode, idj. They can fit in his trailer but they all seem big next to him

Tolerances are unforgiving, and the transformation is a nightmare. If I gotta use spugers to handle a figure I'll pass on it. But good review 👍.
