I’m wondering if weight is intentional considering he’s a leg... maybe they believe if the legs are heavier you can control Menasors posing and articulation better

loved the white paint ...has that car paint fleck look ,very nice detail they added in place of just a basic white paint

I think I've been spoiled (so to speak) by Goose's and Sheridan's transformations lol
Not sure if you had issues with the upper shins, but in the video they're not plugged in. The first time I had to plug mine in, it was a little difficult, one side more than the other. But, once they're in the legs look even better, and it's a non-issue after that. I was also really impressed with the Head Sculpt, specifically the depth, line work and the sculpt below the eyes; all of that combined with the deep red and purple eyes, makes this one of the best head sculpts yet. He's one of my favorite releases for 2019 so far.
He’s beautiful and really not that much thinner than FT Cyclonus. Doesn’t bother me in the least! Great video buddy!

Prepare to hear this a billion times and I tried to skim your comments first, there's a joint behind the ankle pivot that rocks the foot forward so that there's no gap between the shin and the toe. It makes his car door the heel since he really has no heel on the blue part of the foot.

Excellent breakdown excuse the pun. In transit I'm all in on this set. Love the aesthetics & paint. I have no problem with the scale either. Fortunately will be able to enjoy the bots for a while before combining. May end up leaving all in bot modes though. Time will tell.

Dude the best ft as done transformation wise to date ! I gotta say for the most part they have been follow the leader. That morphing though into mp alt mode ? You can look back at this , and say they are the innovators of this kind of transformation . Hopefully you will see more like this from them. Great review!
I just got mine today. Absolutely superb figure. I was never a fan of Menasor, but I love the Stunticons. Going to get them all and probably not even going to combine them.

What a beautiful figure. Especially that flaked pearl white paint. Nice! I don't have any problems with his side profile. True... he is definitely not related to J-Lo, but he looks just fine. lol. The only thing I found a bit annoying (but not much) was certain steps of the transformation. Some of those tolerances are very, very tight. And I couldn't work them without a spudger. But all in all... a great figure. I'm getting both, the FT and XTB sets. Still have no idea which set will end up displayed as Menasor, though as I love all the individual bots in those 2 sets so far.
Man, that was a rough transformation. Getting the rear quarter panels/arms in and lined up was tough!

I’m liking Spoiler a lot, should get mine soon. The paint and sculpt look amazing. I’m not bothered about how thin he looks from the side profile but your right that his upper body isn’t actually thin it’s the lack of but, but the upper arm is out of proportion. This set aesthetically and sculpt wise is on the right path

Man... I love this Stunticons they are great, if Fans Toys manages to do the same with all of them and there is no reason to believe they wont, this is going to be the best TF combiner team ever. So far both modes are supper clean, well sculpted, well painted, well engineered, I just got to have them all. Thank you for the review Bobby.
I'm glad I didn't comment right away (I know I have a tendency to do that before finishing a video). You never got back to talking about his knee range of motion, but you did show the full range in your poses during final thoughts.
The legs are actually double jointed for the entire range, very late but I didn’t see anyone else mention it

Here's my thoughts.
If you like the taller bot modes of DX9 & FT I'd say FT is your best option.
For car mode I'd say FT.
Can't wait until we have all 3 sets complete.
Wonder if a butt part will come with the combiner piece to fill that section out. I don't mind a parts forming gimmick here. Also, How come They don't have those cannon parts for the vehicle mode. All the G1 limbs came with one including their gun. I always wanted to attach them to Menasor back in the day. Unless they will come in a box set if they will make one. That will be the gimmick to get you to buy the box set. Let me tell you. If this combiner knocks it out of the park. I won't mind getting another set.

hmm , so technically fanstoys is playing the separate game , or should i say , if you purchase one fanstoys figure , then you should buy their other figures as well because their finish fit better together. I'm having both DX9 stunticons right now and gotta say while I think FT Spoiler at some places do look kinda nice , it still doesn't look as toon imagery to me. Maybe I should search for MMC Vortex now.
What do we do with the Xtransbots figures they seem really out of place now with fans toys n dx9 figures i think this is a really good figure

What scale is this? They’re supposed to be MP but these are ridiculously oversized robots. That’s an instant dealbreaker for me.

Knee is double jointed btw and goes all the way ;). Mine was a mess of tolerence issues due to painted tabs and mushroom pegs. Had to take the waist apart to lube the lower transformation joint. However, its a very good figure, looks amazing with their MM and compacts down to a carbot sized alt mode, I cannot wait to get the next one. The weight does worry me tho too.

I have on in hand and while he's thin... It doesn't really bother me. I could see how it might bother some people... But I suspect most don't have much of a problem with it.
Only issue I have and maybe it's unique to mine? I haven't transformed mine once yet... but it feels like the the back of the upper body isn't tabbing together with the front that great. Has that been anyone else's experience? I don't know if mine is a bit off or if they're all more or less like that. Other than that, he seems pretty good.
Theres no chance in hell that I will be able to combined this...

That makes him a bit more interesting, I've heard a lot of rumours surrounding these guys, 1 of them is that the combination parts will be a separate set you'll have to buy and another was that he wouldn't combine.
Thing that get me is why DX9's breakdown's gun DOESN'T have a peg to fit into his hand for proper hold but their wildrider does, just think that's a bit odd.

To me, this is more fiddly and more of a nightmare to transform than MP-44 if only because the mess on Prime still makes sense; on Spoiler here, a lot of the small bits aren't as obvious as to where they go and when. But I still looooove it.

Getting this guy transformed back to a robot is tough as hell and frustrating. Beware.

Flat Stanley finally getting a figure.
I feel like criticising this figure is a bit like farting into the wind. Realistically, people who bought Roadking are committed and gonna get the whole set; people who didn't, won't.
I'm a little baffled, thoug. The unique selling point of this set is that the transformations mass-shift Roadking down and the others up allowing them to have correct MP scale vehicle modes but also correct 'bot mode scaling relative to each other. From a display perspective, this only really pays off in 'bot mode so the weird proportions seem like a big own goal, to me!
People who've got it seem happy with it, so I guess that's a win for everybody, really. :-)
I really dig the robot mode. The translucent machinery on the chest looks great and the articulation is not their best, but I think they nailed the most important points to allow convincing poses. The car mode is good as well, but a bit bigger than the hastak Lambos. I still consider Sunstreaker’s alt mode my preferred Lambo from all the ones we got, maybe because it looks like the 1985’s 25th anniversary edition, which is my favorite countach. Thanks for the review!

I'm a f**king idiot. I saw the title and genuinely thought it was a breakdown video about some sort of fanstoys news.
Hey!? I thought the knees had 90 degrees single hinge? In the pose bit afterwards u have him in a double hinge fully flexed pose on the right knee, which made me very happy 😁. After getting into 1:6th figures i find myself looking for the most screen accurate and poseable representations of characters.
Tbh i don t think they have bot mode figured out yet 😶. I think that s why they will release them in this scedule for both the combinersets: first the leader to suck you in. Then 3 other members of both sets and finally the 5th membet to complete the set, with all the combinerparts included. It s a smart way of releasing stuff if the community doesn t loose faith in the meanwhile. Tbh loosing faith after the 3rd or 4th member won t stop most ppl of completing the set i think. I buy them for bot mode mostly. Alt modes look great also, and combine mode would be a sweet bonus. IF they nail combine mode after all this time, i see them putting out swapout releases for previously released combiners by other companies.

Not bad at all, but he is still too skinny, but that’s a result of his apparent "mass shift". I think the DX9 version is the best of the 3 G1 MP Breakdowns currently available.
All carbots should be this size. Much better when next to seekers etc.
Way too flat.
Not too happy with the flimsy red panels on the legs . Looks like they got to that point and just kinda gave up . Just like with their Reflector .
Next : don't care about the butt . Like ... at all . But we all have our hangups . Speaking of which ...
Next : Do care about the headlights (backlights) as the shoulders .
Quite unsightly, nothing like the cartoon or the toy , and (depending on your viewing angle) really really breaks up the white , blue , red color motif of the top of his body ... , as a tropical cocktail is not the first (or last) thing on my mind, when I think about Breakdown .
I didn't like the look in the initial photos, and seeing it in a vid didn't change my mind .
Car mode looks aces .
Transformation ... , FT still either worship Car Robots, or hate their fans . :)
